AFRICAN TIGRESS, YOUR KENYAN SISTER
You are so handworking, keep up babygirl 💗
The Guyanan singer you mentioned about Electric Avenue was the late Eddie Grant.
Eddie Grant is still alive.
So sorry about the mentioned of Eddie Grant as the late Eddie Grant. Someone told me that he had died and I did not check the accuracy. Should have.🙏🏾
I still love his song" Electric Avenue"❤
Tigress, Jamaican s are everywhere 😊🇯🇲🤗
I visited your island with some friends from the United States in 1988 when i was 18 for about two months that summer.i am an African American by the way.
I hope you're planning another vacation to Jamaica, there are many more new adventures to explore since your last visit.
are Jamaicans in hell.
Finally in Brixton 😎 my side of south west London
Your still there to early though A , the best time to be in London is the summer.
Most Caribbean ppl in Brixton stay in there home in the winter, it’s to cold 🥶
There only out to travel to work or to get food and bring it home.
You also miss the very famous speakers corner.
EmpressGood Vibes is so authentic….love her energy!
JAMAICA ONE LOVE

Electric Avenue was sung by Eddie Grant a Guyanese who now lives in Barbados
You should get yourself some gloves when you in this northern cold climate. You have just left a tropical Islands. The Caribbean Knights and hot England is cold and damp at the moment. So get yourself some nice gloves that you can still use your electronic phones and devices
Enjoy
Wonderful work ❤❤❤watching live from japan 🇯🇵💕🙏🌺💕
African Tigress that cold weather is not for you…try to enjoy your journey and stay safe many blessings USA 🇺🇸🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲
You’re in London where I used to live, (followed you all over), but I’ve lived in the US for many years, but go back often. You look so cold why not wear a longer coat?
You are so vibrant ❤
Another interesting tour of North London thanks A T
What’s up A T. Good to see you in London and visiting Brixton. Trust in, you are going to be fine Brixton. People will always have negative things to say. But there’s nothing wrong with Brixton. Nuff respect 🇯🇲 my sista.
The ship HMT Empire Windrush arrived at the Port of Tilbury on 21 June 1948 and its passengers disembarked a day later. The ship carried 492 Caribbean migrants, many of them veterans of the Second World War. The ship and its passengers have a symbolic status as the start of the Windrush Generation.
These people are known as the Windrush Generation, named after the first ship that carried passengers from Jamaica to the UK, Empire Windrush. One of the largest and most famous Jamaican expatriate communities is in Brixton, South London.
Many Jamaicans settled in Brixton since the early 1950s.
This was mainly due to the fact that the original migrants from the “Windrush Generation” had been temporarily housed in an empty air-raid shelter in Clapham, and reported to the nearest Labour Exchange - in Brixton
In the 1950s, Brixton became a hub for the Caribbean immigrants from the West Indies, particularly Jamaica, who settled in the South London suburb. By the late 1960s, the area had become one of England's largest and most important sites of Caribbean settlement.
Big up urself love the video
You are are glowing ❤❤❤
Part 2, in Brixton brilliant
That is it Jamaica 🇯🇲 to the world 🌎
Hope you enjoyed your food sis
AT you look amazing!
I have lots of cousins living throughout Metro London who are descendants of our ancestors who went to England during the Windrush era.🇯🇲🇨🇦
AT that's a lovely lip color you're wearing ❤
Nice one AT.
I went to Aldi yesterday, there is a couple Aldi store in US
The song Electric Avenue was done by Eddie Grant a Guyanese.
Big you self sister very good
Jamaicans in London are fun making sure you attend the Nottinghill carnival 🇯🇲
To be frank on my opinion nothing beats Carnival in the Caribbean.
Nottinghill carnival sold out years ago, hardly any trace of Caribbean culture.
Once you’ve experienced carnival in the Caribbean, Notting hill is a poor substitute.
Yes, Eddie Grant I believe sang Electric avenue
Yes he does
Hope you enjoyed Brixton. You should also try Etta’s seafood kitchen restaurant. if you get another opportunity.🙏🏾
What is the temperature in London in this video? I didn't usually wear scarf when I was living in New York, just a good hat to help keep me warm.
Re Guyanese musician who sang about Electric Avenue, that's the on and only Eddie Grant. Prior to his very successful solo career, he was lead singer for the British group, The Equals: czcams.com/video/5AcigKiu_Gk/video.html and czcams.com/video/P5G3Ffta-ic/video.html

Get some ear muffs AT enjoy
You are so vibrant
While you are there it would be gd to do some background as to why there are so many Jamaicans in London. It was initially due to the Windrush generation after world war 2. Not many local Jamaicans are aware of this. Hello from Kingston 🇯🇲
Brixton is littel jamaica for real even all the Caribbean come live in brixton with the Jamaicans everything from island sold there🇯🇲
ARE YOU READY FOR NEXT EPISODE?
I been busy, but am always ready
Will you have time to visit Birmingham? England second largest city. about one hour train ride from Euston train station London

Why you bring up Dee Dwango name yuh too nuff
@@gemricketts6465maybe she supports both and don’t know the history. Wow your response was aggressive. I don’t think she even know they aren’t friends. I saw others mentions she should meet Dee too.
Most Caribbean islands do not need visas to visit England on holiday, however Jamaicans need visas to visit. The islands that are still British dependents are entitled to British Citizenship so they can get British passports, Montserrat, Anguilla, Cayman Islands, Turks and Caicos, British Virgin Islands, are British Terroteries. Jamaica and some othe places need Visas.
We do not need a visa for UK and Europe!🇧🇸
@@Redeemption Jamaicans need visa for UK and Schengen states in Europe
Of the Commonwealth Caribbean countries only Jamaicans & Dominicans (Dominica) need visas. Jamaica got visas restrictions placed in 2003 due to too many people coming & overstaying/running off along with many of our criminals taking advantage of this route. Dominica got visa restrictions placed on them in 2023 due to a large amount of sketchy people taking advantage of their citizenship by investment program.
Jamaica and Dominica need visas.
The UK stopped allowing Jamaicans to visit visa free because of the large number of Jamaicans who came to the UK as visitors then failed to leave on the expiration of their visas.
London looks very dark. Seems to always be cloudy and wet.
Hi you should reach out to her children in Jamaica next time you’re there. I feel like they’ll have good vibes like her. ❤
They are literally children not even teenagers yet
What's the beach like in England?
UMMM these must be newer trains.....last in London 2010
People from the island of St Lucia don't need a Visa to London. Jamaicans need a Visa to visit London . Why ?
Bad behavior they carry with them
GET YOUR FACTS STRAIGHT BAD MINE "smallie" SIMPLE FACT IS UH'NUH STILL AH BOW TO MAH'SAH AND JAMAICAN'S ARE NOT. SO HE GOH 🔊🔊🔊🔊🔊 "SUM"!!!!🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥🔥
Why people get caught up in is no visa thing and who have to have a visa .at the end of the day if you don't have money to buy the ticket you still can't go
So what is your point .
@@osarismaroon2292you talk about bowing to master.🇧🇧 BARBADOS bowed out long before you 😂. Less of the small island talk.
Hahaha I live in Islington i use jambo
Whaaat tukutane
@@AFRICANTIGRESS can u please teach me how to do this utube African queen I would love to learn 🇯🇲👑
We should just make Brixton a National Tourist area at this point
Hi 👋
How are you,
Yeah kindly tell us how to get uk visa
One thing to say “Fish, Wingz and Tingz”
,.. Eddie Grant ,..." Electric Avenue",.....p.s.you CANNOT ' get lost ' ,...in BRIXTON..!
Former colonies that use to have British passport do not need visa to UK for a holiday. People who ask you how come you get a visa are jealous of you. Do not answer them, that is your personal business.
You are wrong, people from some Colonies like Jamaica need Visas. Its because of gheir high crime, drug rate and people not returning after holiday is done. Barbados does not need visas for holiday.
😅😅
@@bonitaweekes4366
@@jennalud4748 so what? They are islands smaller than Barbados. We did not make it, we came and found it.
@@jennalud4748for a small island Barbados has the strongest passport in the Caribbean.
@@jennalud4748for a small island Barbados makes up for many things.
Greetings,s sis🌹🫂
Wow! The UK is a very very dark place. How do they survive with zero sunlight????
Summer’s great though. Lots of daylight. Even at 9pm at night you’re still able to read a newspaper outside.
@@michaelfarmhand
It's good to know that the place does get some sunlight.
Vampires dint need sunlight
You eventually move to England, and you leave your warm continent.
