To be polite in France is to show respect not to be overly friendly and familiar

Yes I would be interested in knowing about the local places to stay where local Parisian life is

Go to the most beautiful and peaceful cities of the région parisienne : Villiers-le-Bel, Aulnay-sous-Bois, Vitry, Bobigny, Evry,...

Hello, thanks for the advice. We plan on staying in Vicennes. What recommendations do you have for that area?

Yes, local places please. We are staying in the 15th because we are hoping to experience Parisian life.

Also: once you have a table you can stay as long as you like (in Europe in general)

The center of Paris isn't necessarily a better place to stay. It doesn't make much sense to recommend to someone who wants a bigger place to take a smaller place just to stay in the center of Paris. When travelling some people do need a maximum of comfort.

Don't pay for hotels when it is not raining. The weather is pretty mild from spring to autumn.

I am always wary of restaurants with cane chairs out front anywhere in Europe

Hi. Curious as to your exact location. We’re looking for more pedestrian friendly areas

I am a Parisian and my advice is not to come to Paris during the Olympic Games. All Parisians will leave Paris during this period 🤣

just so you know, transports will be really bad (a lot of metros are getting closed) and prices will rise during the Olympics

I thought in France is liberté égalité fraternité ?

France has changed. Now it's criminalité, agressivité, malfamé. You should stay away from a lot of particular neighborhood (especially in the north of Paris). Lots of zombies there.
