As someone from Barbados i can say that this is truly amazing for Jamaica hope the government invest heavy in this im sure this will attract more tourism to the country
I was in Barbados for 5 years , I live near the Garrison in St Micheal and Christ Church
Jamaica has the oldest railway system in the western hemisphere, even before the United States. This isnt new
@@everbless1118 o
If i was a multi billionaire I would’ve definitely use this video to motivate me to partner with the government of Jamaica to create a very nice, comfortable and safe railroad system that touches every parish and city in Jamaica. Especially portmore because the traffic there be crazy! But great video Rochielin!!
Sounds great. Thanks for watching love.
They've got enough money, what they need is visionary you've got great ideas
@@Rochielin no problem!!! Huge fan🙌🏾🙌🏾🙌🏾😁🙏🏾
@@erroljohnson6226 I appreciate it bro. I’m telling you a strong public railroad system would definitely change the game in Jamaica just like how the knotsford Express bus system changed the game there!
I said the saaaammmmeee thing..
Salvadoran-American here, Bless up to all my Jamaican brothers and sisters! Happy to see a positive uplifting video like this. Yes, this project is in its initial stages but in time I am sure it will lead to many improvements . In El Salvador it is the same story. Antiquated railroad system fell into disuse, yet the president Nayib Bukele has a vision of modernizing it as a key to making El Salvador the hub of economic activity in Central America. Blessings and respect! 🇯🇲✌🏽
I enjoyed this video.. I cannot believe there is a train operating in JA.. omgosh…
Thanks! I hope it happens in your country.
@Mitzie Chang El Salvador!
I wonder when it will be available for everyday commuters? this has so many benefits to the Jamaican economy, from local transportation, and even tourists. You'll be able to get around the island a lot easier when it becomes island-wide.
Great Idea, but once everyday residents starte riding these trains de dutty nasty criminals ago start Rob & kill dem off fe no reason.
Thats great back in the day we take the train in to kingston from frankfield was the good old days thanks for share god bless
😳
Dem ting yah mekmi miss yah dwag😒
Absolutely agree 👍 👏 👌 🙌 💯
I love this! The schoolers will get up off the conductors laps on the mini van and they will get to school early...I'm glad the government is adding back something to the infrastructure
The train is not a new one but to be honest it’s not that old at all, in parts of the U.K. we have trains much much older than that one - so pleased that Jamaica is revamping the train system it will change the lives for many people
No the trains is very outdated
czcams.com/video/eIUD0Wu8sCs/video.html
Problem with investing in the trains is that not enough people to use it for investors to get their money back .it would cost millions of dollars its a huge operation to run the service population of ja is too low for that sort of investment
Would be even worse if we then start having train robbery🤷🏾♀️
@@lengmuzik6333 actually it would become feasible imo, as transportation to some parishes would be much easier and less costly
So happy to see the trains back in Jamaica even on a small scale right now.
As an older Jamaican, I have ridden on the older trains once. The experience was less than ideal, but I was still excited that we had a train. This one looks beautiful. I am hoping this service can be extended to other areas across the Island. Goooo Jamaica!
It would be good to make the train service available to everyone to manage the cost. The train was empty so it is running at a loss.
Glad to see that the trains are back in place. My stepfather was the chief civil engineer of railway tracks during the 70s. I hope that it becomes a permanent part of our transportation infrastructure. It was a great help to vendors along the south coast taking their produce to kingston.
Hopefully one day to come we can cross country Jamaica by rail. That would be awesome.
Jamaica has the oldest railroad system in the Western Hemisphere and am happy that it’s back in operation. One of my most memorable childhood memories is riding the train from Mobay into Kingston. The padded seats were first class back in the day. Please do a video on the history.
I just wrote my comment, I'm 52 years old, as I child I use to ride the train from Kingston to Montego.
Hey Gracie, we might have ridden the train from MoBay to Kingston around the same time🤗
Indeed learnt this in history lol
Yes all true. Happy it's being revitalised. I enjoyed my first train journey as a child. I also used to get a diesel from Buff Bay Station to Port Antonio where I attended High School. I'm really very happy that there's a service for the school children. I'm hoping it will come back in full action.
The USA and Canada had trains before Jamaica. However, Jamaica was the first British West Indian colony to have a rail system. Cuba had a short rail system but it was a Spanish possession. India's rail system was after Jamaica's.
I used to take the train from Old Harbour to Spanish Town and back to Old Harbour, 5 days a week, I went to St. Jago high school, it was so convenient, I wish all the people of Jamaica could experience this
They should open this up in every Parish, it worked like the school buses here in the States. And use it for public transportation when the students are in school. Thx Rochielin excellent video.
Yes correct i live in the USA too . Praying for our country Jamaica 🇯🇲🇺🇲
I remember riding these trains as kid from St James to Kingston. Was a scenic ride through the hills of St James and St Elizabeth. The numerous vendors at each stop acted as “Parish Ambassador” offer products unique to their parish. Favorite stop was the Balaclava stop for the Bammies. One of my first trips in Jamaica was the “Tourist Train” aka the Appleton Express with stops at Catadupa, Ipswich Caves and finally Appleton Estate.
I’m so happy to see that the brilliant JA minds re-engineered the existing infrastructure to help the students travel to and from school. Unno tek yu Han tun fashion…JA 🇯🇲 this is progress!! The children are the future ✨👏🏾💪🏾
As a student in the 1960s Portland I had to go by bus in the morning, but in the evening I used to take the diesel train from Port Antonio to Buff Bay. It was just marvelous!
Definitely a step in the right direction........ Corporate Jamaica need to see the unique opportunity that lies ahead if they invest and help drive this much needed Infrastructure in a profitable and sustainable direction......thanks for sharing......I was a JOY watching
I agree
The first railway, the Western Jamaica Connecting Railway, was built in 1845 from Kingston 23.3 kilometres (14.5 mi) to Angels near Spanish Town. The railway was proposed and started by William Smith, originally from Manchester who owned land in Jamaica, and his sugar planter brother David. Jamaica had a rail service well before america
And electricity in comparison other places as well. 💛💚
Just like black river had electricity long before the US…thanks for sharing Mike
czcams.com/video/eIUD0Wu8sCs/video.html
That’s not true. America had a rail way from about 1825! I googled it
@@seanbryan1739 TELL DEM SEAN.
It’s such an awesome feeling to see the passengers train back in operation. I recall riding the train back and forth from Linstead to Spanish town daily in the eighties to attend school.
I remember riding the train as a child in Jamaica, I totally enjoyed it!
niiiiceeee
I hope the railway system expands in Jamaica. The traffic is horrendous. I remember traveling from Kingston to Riversdale, St. Catherine. Loved it.
Love this, i remember riding the train to Manchester as a child. I am happy to see that Jamaica is trying to revitalize the railroad. It sounds just like the subway in New York....lol
Hi Rochielin, as one of your "older" 😊 Jamaicans, (but not too old), I rode the train from Mo Bay to Kingston to visit my Grandfather and I used to love it🇯🇲🚃🚃. I memorized all of the stops along the way, it was fun, you got to see the countryside and all kinds of people riding the train not just students. I'm so glad to see that it has returned if only for a short distance for now. BIG up Jamaica for revitalizing the train!! I loved seeing you experience your first train ride!!🇯🇲🚃🇯🇲🚃
Then this nice eee. The older trains are going to have that section between the carts but there is value in having older trains in operation even if the system become modernize to having electric powered ones. I live in Japan that arguable has the best train system in the world and you still see older trains in operation everywhere is just that they are options available depending on how fast or how affordable you want to travel. I wish that the government can build a rail system of integrity as it will be of great value to the Jamaican people
This is awesome 👏🏽 I am a Jamaican born female living in London. I have been a train driver here in London for some years now I have also been a train driver instructor and now a train driver manager. I love this way to go Jamaica!!! I would actually love to ride on that train when I get there next year in the driver cab to see the signaling system that is there.
Really awesome 👏🏽 🇯🇲
Railways are the most efficient land transportation system. But the best part is that it is a lot of fun to ride trains. Really happy that the Jamaican government has revitalised the railway. Great video Rochielin, especially when you said that the trains needs greasing or wd40. You made me laugh, because that is normal for trains. Only very new coaches are quiet, as you noticed. Greetings from Costa Rica.
Amazing! I was born in Jamaica in 1957 and traveled as a child many times to Kingston from Trelawny on those buses that take a whole day. Never ever saw a JRC passenger train my life. We all heard stories about that horrific crash in 1957 a few months after I was born. Having never seen a passenger railway train I assumed it had stopped running after the crash. I googled it and found out that The Jamaica Railway, constructed in 1845, was the first line opened to traffic outside Europe and North America, and it ran until 1992!!! I would love to be able to get on it someday, so I hope they continue to develop it. Traffic jams in Jamaica are the worst.
I live in England and remember on my first trip to Jamaica in 1976 riding the train several times from Mobay to I think Four Paths when going to see my Grandfather. My husband is Jamaican and he has never ridden the train so I hope they put it back into service for all so he can have this experience in his own country.
Wow, this brings back fun memories, I am now 70 years old, borne and grow up in Clarendon and my parents was from St. James, every year after school closes for six weeks our mother would take us to see our grandparents so we would take the train from May Pen to Montgomery Bay. The best part is the many vendors that sells pepper shrimps, different types of biscuits, different type of sodas and different type of bag fruits on the train.
Lol😄 Sounds like a lot of fun for a child and so convenient for the adults !😄 Previous Memories huh ?😄
It looks pretty decent for being an old train. This is a good look. I was always fascinated by the bauxite trains but I’m not old enough to have experienced a Jamaican passenger train. I hope they properly maintain it. Really nice video. Can someone please donate a new modern train for this project. These are the situations in which I imagine being a philanthropist.
Love the timeless content on this channel. A video like this will be far more appreciated in years to come.
I didn’t even know that students ride the train to school in Jamaica. Thank you Roch 🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽🙌🏽
Learn something new everyday 😁😁..You are most welcome
Only been two weeks now still. Pilot project
Just open back up
I welcome this transportation system and happy that this system is in place,it’s organized and safe for the children.
Bcz it just started up again
Typically you only see bauxite train
This brought back memories from my childhood, traveling to St Elizabeth for summer holidays, I loved it then. I would be awesome to see the train back in full effect. Thanks Rochelin ❣️
OMG, and here I am thinking and telling my US born daughter that we don't have any trains. Big up to Jamaica...Thanks for sharing. Welcome back!
Bro the bauxite train never went out of commission it was always here
Wow I didn’t even know that Jamaica had trains! That’s interesting 🔥🔥🔥
My thoughts exactly....Jamaica has trains...fantastic! Use to ride the train to school in Port Antonio....loved it!
This is an excellent move by the Govt. hopefully in the future there will be more improvements.
You have brought back fond memories for me riding the train/diesel. Train Portland to Kingston. Portland to May Pen. The carts were never this empty. Vendors had their goods and people going on holiday had their dulcimener. Vendors sold peanuts and popcorn. Those tunnels were dark. I can say that I truly enjoyed riding the train. The turntable is still in Port Antonio. The engine was turned on this. This allowed for the engine to turn in the direction from which it was coming... It couldn't turn like a car or bus, limited land space.
Thanks for this one😁😁👍
This is very interesting. I use to travel on the train from Gregory Park to Kingston in the eighties. The trains use to be packed! Passengers had to stand because they seats were all taken. The trains were very fast. We reachon time.I think Jamaicans like the train! It's very comfortable and relaxing. Some people take naps on the train.
I would love to ride on this train when I get to Jamaica. My mom told me about a train crash, she was supposed to be going somewhere in Jamaica. Sometimes in the 50s?
@@gennisparry4352yep happened in 1957 I believe. Train couldn't brake due to failure and derailed on a curve
@@amtraklover My mom said she was supposed to go on this trip to Kendal in Manchester. Her then boyfriend told her not to go as her dress wasn’t appropriate. She was pregnant with her first child. She said she obeyed and she’s alive today. Many times as children she would say listen to me , because I listened I am alive today. She said many died including people from the yard she lived in In Kingston Jamaica. She said the lived before Madden Funeral Home at that time. She said dead bodies were scattered on the ground. Sorry for being so graphic, but I never forget that. My brother was born in 58. Have a great day!
Wow this is amazing I remember as a child when I was younger me and my mother took it from Clarendon to Kingston before it came out of operation but this is awesome, i really hope Jamaica keep it up and get some better trains and carts because I think it would be faster and less traffic and more safer also it also would be nice if they can do fraight also I am proud of Jamaica for there effort I wish it can be like the ones we have in New York to take people to and from work and have also undercover cops in each carts along with cameras help with crime because that will follow
This is amazing and it’s bringing back memories as a child in Jamaica back then maybe about 10,11,12 years old my mom took me and my two younger brothers from Papine or downtown to Spanish town at the time. It was a very old, black and noisy train yet it was cool to be riding in one.
I’m happy about this. It’s a great move. I really hope it lasts. 🙏🏿
Thanks for sharing.
In the 90’s I took the train from Spanish Town to Kingston and it was so much better than taking the bus or taxi. Hope the government will invest in some newer trains later on or in the future. Excellent video contents 👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽👏🏽 thanks for the highlights ❤️❤️❤️
Good job
I am happy that the train is back on track. It is a cheaper mode of transportation. I used to travel on the train from Appleton to Kingston. I wish the whole line from Kingston to Montego Bay will soon be reopened.
Just a few students were on the train so I think they could include other passengers.
czcams.com/video/eIUD0Wu8sCs/video.html
They will include others soon.
This makes me happy. Thank you, Rochielin.
I can't remember which youtuber it was you showcased tracks in Jamaica and I was shocked. I had no idea Jamaica used trains. I wanted to know at the time what the tracks were used for and no one responded. Your vid came in my recommended and you've answered my question.
Jamaica needs more trains to get everyone, not just students but workers, tourists, or Jamaicans who want to go in another parish or go to a doctor's appointment, etc.
Excellent video!🚞
The tracks were used to primarily used to transport bauxite back in the day. So primarily cargo
So happy to see the revitalization of the railway system up and running at home.. The public transportation system in Canada consist of the GO train, TTC (subway), AMtrack & Via Rail. Our central station is Union Station which moves thousands per day. It is an experience to travel.. Thank you Rochielin for taking us this exciting & insightful trip👏👏❤️❤️
This is a good move on the part of the Jamaican government👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾
I would like to see it becomes part of the transportation system in Jamaica. It will give the travelling public more option.Yes, Rochelin this train is the older model so it is going to make a lot of noise. The noise was bearable for us.We loved it. Some person's house was very close to the train line.
Rochielin always has a positive vibe and energy 👍Let's Gooo!!!
lets goooooo!!!!!
Wow just wow tears came to my eyes while watching your video, I'm so happy inside my heart felt so good while watching. I'm so happy to see my Island upgrading its transportation sector. If I was wealthy l would definitely donate money towards improving and upgrading the rail road system to connect all fourteen parishes. Wow I appreciate you for this video Young lady keep up the good job. Its a pity my first time on a train wasn't in Jamaica, I experience it in the US/2021
When I was just going to high school I took the train from downtown Kingston to Angles in St Catherine. It was a relatively smooth ride then. The only problem was the long wait at the various stops but was really effective especially in comparison to travelling in the bus. Bus rides then people were sandwiched together in tight rows. Train cabins were full but not as tightly packed as the buses. Good that they are trying to renew the service.
I like the unique nature of ur content.. keep it up! I look forward to all ur contents. U definitely stand out on CZcams in Jamaica.
I remember walking from South Camp road after school to the train station with my friend Michelle Campbell. She would get on the train to Old Harbour. I took the train only once to Mobay . We left Kingston at 8.30am and arrived at 2.30pm. The train stopped a lot but I enjoyed the ride . The stations were beautiful and had venders selling fresh fruits . I particularly love the station at Porus Manchester. There were venders with bags of fruits , some of the biggest star apple I've ever seen. I was with my friends Elaine and Marion from school and Elaine's cousin Sandy. That was the last day of school. I haven't seen them ever again after we returned to Kingston but I'm glad I have the memory of riding the train. I hope the government and the private sector can come together and expand the rail system island wide.
Rochielin, Thank you very much for this tour. I enjoyed it. I left Jamaica when I was 10 years old but I heard that there used to be a rail system a long time ago in Jamaica. I also heard about the kendal Crash that happened some years before I was born. Every worthwhile thing has to start somewhere and this is worth it. There has certainly been more car traffic in Jamaica since I was a child, therefore It would be a plus for them to expand the system again nationwide. It would be a nice ride to go from Kingston to Montego Bay and see the scenery.
I did such a ride from Kingston to Montego Bay with my mom to visit her family. I was 4 then. This
was more than 50 years ago. I migrated to the US soon afterwards. This was memorable in my young mind. It was fun
Remembering riding the train route goes from Kingston to Portland
Yes that was a long long ago. One of my dad's sister died in that crash.
I use to ride the train when I was small from Kingston to St. .Catherine it was always noisey and rocky
@@beverlywint7091 Kendall Crash, grew up hearing about that
When i was little in the 1970ties, we went to St Mary and when we coming back to Kingston we took the train. It was a nice experience. I think it would be good to improve and expand the railroad around the island.
I went on this train twice, before Covid, when they were using if for school trips from Spanish Town to Linstead (I wasn't a student, I used to work with 2 schools that went on the trip)
It was a fun experience, the seats were comfortable, the students loved it, I talked to couple of the drivers and learned a lot about how the train works, and the history of it. I met a man who was driving trains in Jamaica for 40 years, he had so many stories.
Blessings from Trinidad and Tobago ❤️✌️💚 one love 🇯🇲
Thanks so much Rochelin for highlighting this. This is so important 👏 I was surprised when the conducted said it was ok to cross to another car when the train is moving. In NY IF you cross over and the cop sees, it's a big fine. Great video
Nice.
Actually, transforming all that into a light rapid "battery" electric rail transit system would be beneficial. Solar, wind, and geothermal energy would provide recharging power at stations as needed. The tracks between cities could be elevated and upgraded for higher speeds. Some trains might even transport goods, ferry trucks, etc. between regions. Local taxes and buses and bicycles become local transportation.
When I was a kid, mom and I used to take the diesel from Kingston to Riversdale back in the 60's. I was wondering if that service would be revived in the future.
I rode the train as a child and happy to see it's back! One of the concerns in the past was security so hoping measures have been taken to address that. The investments in infrastructure is good for brand JA 🇯🇲💚
Never been on a train in Jamaica. This is so awesome. JA a step up.
Rochelin 🙏🏽🆙❤️🇯🇲my father and grandfather both worked on the train s back in it’s glory days … I sent my parents this video ❤️
Awesomeee! Thanks for sharing.
Happy to see the beginning of the railway service .. Thanks for taking us on the experience. 👍🏾😄
The children and passengers are really Not allowed to move through coaches whilst the train is moving. Persons embark at each stop and and whilst stationary , get seated . Only when it stops such movement is allowed. The conductor is the only person that's allowed and should have not encourage you or anybody to do this very dangerous manoeuvring . He could get into trouble with his employment if it's known to management. Careless man !
I rode the train and diesel from Kingston to Siloah, St Elizabeth. The last time when I visited Jamaica from the US was in 1971 and took the Diesel because it was quicker. Did not have many cars on the roads so it was train or country bus.
Llyold,Loyola, was just born lol,you still on the internet, man,I feel young for the first time in a long time
Looking forward to my fellow Jamaicans seeing this as a viable longterm private/public investment to keep Jamaica on the move.
Great to see passengers train running again in Jamaica
I am very happy for my Country Jamaica 🇯🇲 I wish Train would be in all parishes . I live in the USA 🇺🇸and I am greatful to God for all his blessings 🙌 but I am praying for my Country that God will bless Jamaica . I love Jamaica and the USA. Thank you for sharing one love .
I live in St.Catherine and I get so excite when I see the bauxite train passing, can't wait to ride on this one. Great Video, thanks for sharing.
Thanks for the video on the revitalization of public train in Jamaica Happy it's back
Hi Rochelin it’s nice knowing the kids have a good form of transportation to school. I remember as a child In Jamaica I loved riding the train😍😊
This is so cool!!!! Dope video!! I didn’t know That Jamaica had a system like this. Really 😎
Thank you for sharing, i love yo see this for the students back in Jamaica 🇯🇲
This is great!!!!I hope they will keep it up.,
I remember my cousin took me on the train in Jamaica years ago from Kingston to Balaclava in St.Elizabeth.
In 1978 i rode the train from Montpelier to Kingston. It was a wonderful experience as you get a very good view of the country. In those days persons would sell bammy/sprat and sky juice for the entire journey. Also, it was very safe.
wow thanks for sharing. bammy and sprat sounds great.
@@Rochielin I was I think you forget to tell them that it was only for st Chaterine
The good old days. Sigh
Love what you are doing, Thanks to ALL who involved in making this train available for the Persons using it.🙏🏽🙏🏽🙏🏽💕👍👏💥😍🌞
As a child in the 1960s I rode the train almost every last Saturday of the month to Siloah, St Elizabeth. It was so much fun. Vendors would come up at Porus to sell tangerines and oranges, others would ride the train and sell biscuits, chips, sweets and other snacks that our parents strictly limited. Nevertheless, the train trip was always exhilarating.
They need to send the Train all over Jamaica like in old days. .and bring back our Airplane Air Jamaica
Hope the government don't sell out that to..
It is a great feeling to see the train operating again, i dont mind the colour though. Can you imagine connecting to the 14 parishes in Jamaica, park your car at the station and board the train to your destination. People can look forward to getting work at the train station, there is a lot of land available out of Kingston to do businesses and make house but it can be very tired driving to the different parishes. I would love if the Government could least the line, if they cant maintain it. Thanks for the video information. We welcome train network in Jamaica its technology age.
This is awesome. I am looking forward to seeing this getting bigger and better in the future.
An excellent video Rochelein! Very informative and the comments are really encouraging and the comments so enlightening!😍
I’m happy they bring back the trains especially on the Linstead to Spanish Town route, I am no a fan of the gorge road and the scary driving taxis.
I use to enjoy riding the train when I was a child I wish it would come back into place
little by little.
Great coverage , you bring back great memories. I used to take the dieasel from Greenvale to Kingston when I was a kid. It was great adventure . I used to look forward to travelling on the train . Glad they are bringing back the railway system . Good job!!!🇯🇲🇯🇲🇯🇲🇨🇦🇨🇦🇨🇦
Very good I like that, you did a good one showing us 🇯🇲 moving up with train more to come, thanks for sharing.
Omg, I remember them days, going through the tunnels, the scenery, etc. Memories!!!
It's only time before the train in Jamaica 🇯🇲 have a smooth ride I can tell you about back in the days in the 80s train here in New York was loud and scary 😨 as well to ride on but now they're smooth to ride on
That is amazing, I rode the train from old Harbour to Spanish town for most of my high school career. My friends and I had season tickets each term. So happy to se it up and running again.
Gwaan JA! 👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾👏🏾 Progress slowly but surely 👍🏾
Great work, Rochielin!
This was a surprise to me, Trains! 🚂Jamaica ? 🇯🇲 It’s a good look .
Thanks for sharing .
Thanks for watching
I wouldn't take the risk to walk between the coaches💀kinda crazy😅
I remember riding on the train as a little girl and it was exciting. Revitalizing the train service is a good idea to alleviate the traffic on the road. I was just as excited to see your video and the narration made it feel like I was actually there. Thanks Rocheilin!
Thank you for sharing. I am excited to see the train back in operation and available for the schoolers.
Im telling you I wouldn’t switch coaches while moving lol. But honestly I was excited when the train was announced, I think it’s a good idea for the kids. Easier form of transportation for them and safer. Thank you for showing this, even if it’s slower or the same speed as the car, it’s safer, able to carry more people so that in the long run will make it cheaper and more effective.
I am happy you were able to move around on the train in order to film this us; in the same breath, I am very afraid of it, because someone could have an accident while moving in between coaches. 🙆🏾♀️
Wow! I love the train 😇. We (6th St Andrew Half-Way-Tree, Boys Scouts) took a train Kingston to Montego Boy, next to Port Antonio, summer camps. ~1963 - '66. Mama & me took a train from Kingston to May Pen to Frankfield to see my Uncle (can't remember is name) he carry me to the orange field, he show me the HUGE 'ungly fruit' {orange} 😇
Next, summer camp to Port Antonio, I remember the Buff Bay to Hope Bay the trainline use the iron rails on the sea. Oh! I have a STROKE. My writing poor, spelling grammer sentences poor...
Hi Rochielin, enjoyed your video about the revitalization of the railroad in Jamaica. That was my mode of transportation to school, also that was the route I traveled,Old Harbour to Spanish Town.
I use to ride the train from Montego Bay to Kendal in 1964. It was such a beautiful train with toilets and Rools Royce diesel engine.
Thanks so much for this tour! My husband is from Jamaica he said he remembers seeing the train when he was a child! I never knew that there was a passenger train in Jamaica! I will have to take a ride next visit!♥️
I rode the train from Kingston to Montego many times. These trips were always adventurous to me. Every stop there was always vendors selling something.
Thanks for sharing this experience. I appreciated it. First time for watching your video and I like your vibe. Be blessed!
Good coverage. Really glad to see the improvement and that the trains might eventually be coming back.
Thank God i hope they runin other areas as well
I remember that great ride from spanishtown to port antonio with my mother.-- loved those tunnels
