One simple fact: this is metro of healthy society
Represent it very well
Nope
This video is propaganda.
Your idea of healthy society is where no one can have an opinion about government? Where people who oppose government are arrested and imprisoned on penal colonies? Where elderly are left to starve with no heat or water and very little food in villages outside big cities? Where government surveils and censors everything? Where government invades sovereign countries and murders innocent people? That's healthy to you?
@@Liberal_From_Prairies689Right you are. All this was actually filmed in Putin’s palace (built with the money he stole), and the real Moscow metro is a series of dirt caves connected by rusty rails with carts manually pushed by kidnapped Ukrainian children.
I have long heard that Russians are a nation obsessed with cleanliness. That they have indoor shoes and clothes, they do not wear the same things in the house as in the office or on the street. That when they come from the street into the room, they immediately wash their hands.
And, of course, they have a rich and long history and culture. Basically, if your subway looks like this, then everything I've read about them before only confirms it. And yes, I don't care about politics. Russians have the best music, literature, theater and space. The best inventors come from Russia, the USSR or Imperial times.
The tradition of taking off shoes came from Asia. In Japan, Korea, China, everyone takes off their shoes. There is a difference between east and west. The USA symbolizes a radically Western version of society, and Japan symbolizes a radical version of an Eastern one. Russia in the middle.
It's true.😂

The most interesting video I have ever seen. What a fary tale!
Not entirely correct. The mosaic artist, Vladimir Frolov, finished the last mosaics alone. He died of starvation during the Leningrad blockade in February of 1942, having just finished the last of the order. He was in his late sixties. The mosaics were sent to Moscow before the end of the blockade, not after, under bombardment, along the Road of Life. It’s a miracle they made it at all. Unfortunately, seven of them, that didn’t fit into the station (they were meant for a different project originally), had to be hidden from the bombings in Moscow by being buried. They were never found.

Stalin era stations are the Palaces for the People. That is the meaning behind all the intricate designs. Before the Socialist Revolution only the rich minority could enjoy art and beauty. After the Revolution the working people claimed the art and beauty for themselves. They built beauty for everyone to see and enjoy, and beauty became a part of people's everyday life.
A good explanation, thank you
Kremlin was a public space for ordinary people, Soviets made it private😁 and there're many similar cases
@@mnemonicpie by "public" you mean "the _right_ public". Should I remind you that in the Russian Empire and Russian Bourgeois Republic workers and peasants were not allowed into parks and "fancy" streets? There were literally signs "dogs and peasants not allowed". After the Russian Bourgeois Republic fell to the Socialist Revolution all streets and all parks were opened to all people.
The Bolsheviks moved the government from St.Petersburg to Moscow. They made Tsar Palaces into museums and opened them up for the people. So what that they made the Kremlin a government building? Are you trying to say that it was somehow an "anti-worker" decision? Nah. The Bolsheviks were the government of the working people, by the working people, for the working people.
They gave all people free education, free healthcare (including preemptive healthcare), free housing and a right to a job.
Before the Socialist Revolution 75-80% of the population were illiterate. Life expectancy was 29-31 years.
After the Socialist Revolution we reached full literacy by mid 1930. Life expectancy rose to 45 years by the same time, and by the 1960s it rose to 70 years.
Not to mention that the industrial, scientific, and cultural rise of the USSR was unprecedented in history of humanity. Such is the power of the liberated working class who is in charge of its own development.

Any American or Britisher, will faint from the impression when he gets into the Moscow metro. But guys, you must understand that the Moscow metro was not built by Putin or Gorbachev. The metro was built by Stalin, and the metro was built, firstly, for the people (this is what was put at the forefront of the socialist structure of the state), and secondly, it was supposed to serve as the face of the USSR, to show other countries how ordinary people in the USSR move around the capital and what wonderful conditions the people have. That's why the Moscow metro looks like a museum. Nowadays, we just have to give credit to the city authorities for carefully maintaining this beauty and cleanliness.
I’m Russian, and as a child the Moscow metro didn’t seem like anything special to me, I got used to it, and didn’t perceive it as something extraordinary. But now, having lived in New York for 10 years, I, of course, have seen the light)).
My beautiful country, my Russia is absolutely stunning! ❤️
For twenty years, I was an Englishman in Moscow, and there is no comparison between the Moscow Metro and the London Underground, where the stations are too hot in the summertime, dirty and overcrowded and the trains rarely run on time - largely due to "points failures," and other technical reasons. Plus the trains themselves, leave a whole lot to be desired. Once again, too hot in the summertime - usually without air conditioning in many of the older carriages, plus, of course, the cleanliness of the carriages. Finally, the London Underground is outrageously expensive, for the service (or rather the lack of it) provided!
