    Do you have a website? My Mercedes GLA250 did not come with the blind spot and lane change options, can this be installed on a 2016 GLA250? Thanks.

      don't mean to be so repetitive, I just thought you too would like an answer to your questions... sucks some of these guys don't reply to messages.. I did lots of research on the various systems out there and now know the differences. for hassle and problem free solution, here is what you are looking for. I installed it in my Dodge ram, works just like the factory installed option...

      Look up Aliexpress and search for BSM Wave millimeter. The kit posted on the URL below seems to be a self-promo and way overpriced.
      Don't expect to pay more than $250 for the kit.

      @@victor91607 $800+ is an insane price for a freaking BSM. If you are in a rush get it from Gosher's otherwise look at Aliexpress. Lot of vendors at a fraction of the cost.
      The one I installed on a VW was around $130. The hardest part was getting the angle right which isn't too hard if you take the time. Get yourself a couple of level bars, atleast 36" long along with a carpenter's protector to measure the angles. Some vendors on Aliexpress also send you angle templates which makes the install eezy-beezy
      Most of these kits being sold here in the US are bulk purchases from the same vendors selling on Aliexpress

      a b “cheaper doesn’t mean better and better isn’t always cheaper”. All the items being sold on those sources, are “wanna-be” blindspot systems. “Get a couple of level bars and a protractor” are you kidding me? Jajajajajaja .. and it would be nice to see a link of the system you got for $130.. and a video of how well it detects vehicles in your blindspot as you pass them up?... and you’re right some (I would say most) of the systems being sold in the US are a batch purchased from the same vendor . NOT THE USA SPEC’s tho.. last time I checked the CHOSHER piece consisted of taking 2 parking sensors and drilling wholes on your bumper.. PARKING sensors as Blind spot detection! Really??.. Naaah, I’ll pass. Again show us what you bought and a video of how well it works..

      @@victor91607 you can definitely get similar millimetre radar systems for a lot less then USA spec.
      Im also pretty sure USA spec is made in china, it's just a good name to make people think it's made in America.
      That doesn't mean it's bad but I don't see anything that justifies the over 4x price over similar if not identical radar systems.

      @@victor91607 Yes, these universal BSM kits that will install on any vehicle. If you are not in a rush and can wait 2 weeks for shipping, look up on Aliexpress. Lots of vendors with options. Don't expect to pay more than 250 for this system.
      The link posted by Victor is crazy overpriced. Identical kits on Aliexpress are available in the $90-$250 range

    • @victor91607
      @victor91607 Před 5 lety

      a b $90 - $250??? you will get what you pay for. Simple as that.. for that price you are getting parking sensors that you will need to DRILL into the sides of your bumper! Jajaja and they will drive you insane when you can’t get them to stop beeping specially while making a right turn at any intersection (while your car is stopped) detecting the trash can on the side walk or anything stationary for that matter! Jajajaja .. again, take a look at my video and learn from it... this feature is design to assist the driver and supposed to make the vehicle safer on the road.. not make it a threat like all these other cheap kits.. these cheap kits were built based on price, not based on functionality... there shouldn’t be multiple versions of the “blind spot” detection systems, there should ONLY be ONE, that ONE system is the OEM system and the only OEM-GRADE system now available for vehicles that didn’t get the OEM system is the USA SPEC BSM200.. nothing else... everything is the dumb down version again, based on price.

      Paying more doesn't necessarily translate into higher quality. Its your $ and you can pay as you want but 800+ for a freaking BSM excluding installation is a ripoff.
      Yes 36" level bars from HomeDepot and protector is all I needed for install the microwave sensors. The adjustable brackets, templates and marker sheet was included with our package. Do a search on Aliexpress/Alibaba and see the prices of all BSM systems with the following features: BSM/Rear Cross Traffic/Door Open Warning with and without speed control using GPS/OBD.
      We are in the process of integrating a cab fleet with the latest BSM 4-in-1 system where all you have is one control box embedding everything including the buzzer, GPS (for speed monitoring) from a supplier who is OEM for Toyota/Honda/VW. Single unit Price $230, bulk price: to be negotiated but we expect it to be around 175
      BTW I don't have to prove anything to you. Just pointed out the fact that your self-promo link for the BSM was way overpriced. Just providing options to fellow youtubers who might be interested

    • @victor91607
      @victor91607 Před 5 lety

      a b a b a b a b When it comes to Blindspot Detection with rear cross traffic it does, it cost over twice as much to build the right product vs the junk on aliexpress that has NO real life in vehicle testing done.. “36” level bars and a protractor is all” wow, that would take the average person hours just to angle one sensor not to mention 2 of them.. just give a pre-made angle ruler and what would normally take hours will take 15mins... like the system i did.. ooooh! It’s cause you’re promoting your product in here, i’m a consumer .. i was speaking based on personal experience. Or what system do you have in your car?? I wonder why the USA SPEC system can’t be found on aliexpress?
      It would be nice to see a video or pictures of that system going into the cabs, also why GPS for speed sensing? GPS is not very reliable if the signal is lost and the user relies on it too much it can malfunction potentially causing fatalities! .. I wouldn’t touch a GPS based system.. OEM Toyota/Honda/VW aren’t GPS, they’re CAN. But again you’re using that system based on Price, a CAN system costs more $..
      Thank you, I’m not asking you to prove anything, but videos and pictures speaks louder than words/info..
