I use the ZUS cam as a curb watch for the front of my very low mustang. Works great, just need to remember to charge it up once in a while.

I will just use normal car side mirrors. It's cheaper and easier to use.
Since when will normal mirrors eliminate side blind spots? Reduce but not eliminate. Which is a bit like eliminating 90% of the shrapnel from a hand grenade...the 10% you don't eliminate will still kill you...
If you know a specific brand that will eliminate all side view blind spot just through the purchase of a conventional mirror that you stick on the existing (main side view) mirror, please tell me, thanks. I'll order it at once.

@@Allan-et5ig Get blind-spot mirrors, the ones I have get rid of 100% of the blindspots and don't get ruined when someone sideswipes them...or at least are very cheap to replace.
These car gadgets would definitely be useful and above all very ideal for my own BatMobile these tools could definitely come in handy for the entire vehicle yet very subtle for car technology

I have one from Sprint that only cost me $10 a month and it does that exact thing, but in lieu of the car charger, it has a hotspot and tracker

All of these "innovations" have sub-par reviews. Thus need for this commercial to move them.

The first technology is cool - until you consider a delay in what’s being displayed on the monitor could spell disaster.
I bet it should be only delay in milli seconds. The company won’t want to get sue!
I'm more concerned about the battery gauge on the monitors themselves.

If you're on a budget (or not) you can grab an extra mini side view mirror you can stick on your original side view mirror at your nearest auto parts store

Why have a 12v plug in adapter that connects to your phone for voice assistance? Just buy a phone holder and use the built in voice assistant.
I got mine because my car is old and has not Bluetooth. So besides charging my phone it works better when I get directions, sent messages over voice and make answers calls. The microphone listen much better than my phone most of the time. And connect to the speakers of the car.

I end up buying a merc a class with no reverse cam, so I bought that Auto Vox back up cam, installed it..(5 mins) if that and so happy with it, just that it takes extra room with a small screen on dash. But, does the job well.

@@jeshland the point is there was a time in every invention's infancy when it is nearly viable. solar panels of the 1980s pail in comparison to those of today. Meaning it is now worth it but in order to get to now we had to improve designs. No one is forcing you to buy it now but the funding that will be gathered by selling these will improve future technologies. What a concept!

The rear view cameras ( instead of mirrors) and just another way too expensive cost when it’s repair time.
At 02:55 Auto Vox Solar back up camera failed for me, twice. Though Customer Service was fast and replaced my 4 month old device, the replacement only lasted 3 months. I paid $150, for 7 months of use.
Not recommended.

Heck no on mirrors disappearing. GM had heads up display back in the 80's if I recall and now we have add on's to make a heads up display in 2021.

If it's anything like the fender cameras we had when I was a truck driver, they were worthless when it rained and when a vehicle was behind you at night. Headlights routinely washed out the viewing area.

You can't remove the mirror without breaking it, with the door closed. You have to be able to open the door to remove in one piece, to resale. And crimales know they can't sell broken merchandise.

The Vantrue N4 is the best camera if you also want to record in the car. Great for ride share.

Regular side mirrors are fine you just need to adjust them properly to get rid of your blind spot trust me I've done it and it works well.
The only way you should have these special blind spot mirrors is on those new cars that come with it as we know there is so much tech coming on cars you don't have to learn nothing at all not very good to gain experience while driving.

Lexus was not the first who introduced digital sideview mirrors. 2012 we can see that Saab (NEVS) had them already.
Wish I could find some for my Dodge Ram, obviously I prefer my mirrors but I have extremely dark tinted windows so when they are up and I'm driving at night.. very difficult to see.

Cool gadgets but my 2020 f 150 had all this technology already in the truck stock except for the side mirror camera and I wouldn’t want them.

None of the gadgets that seem to be available for the general public are actually available to the "general" public, i.e. in retail after acquiring the necessary regulatory approvals. One can be denied insurance claim if one fits any device not approved by regulators.

It's a bit daft especially as car wheels unless they are super custom are not really stolen anymore, the car has easier things to steel that are worth more like say a cat

Oh how I wish this was so! Really I do. Just come to Florida, and you too will have your faith in our species survival, quickly ripped away, without so much as kiss on the cheek ever being offered as a form of condolence. It's not only here though really. There hasn't been one day that has passed within the last 20 years, where I don't question how our species were able to make it this far. If there be any evidence which points to other intelligent life forms existing outside of our planet, the very reason our species is still alive, proves that answer to be none other than, a resounding YES! Lol. When the time had finally arrived that a decision had to be made, that for the safety and well being of our kind ,(and possibly it's future existence), where we literally had to remind our species to not use hair dryers while taking a shower, did very little to instill any amount of confidence of our kind to make it to lunchtime, much less in the days and years to come. Cameras on modern vehicles do things NOBODY can do. I'm a car collector AND hold valid NHRA and open-wheel IMSA-SCCA licenses. The newest STOCK tech makes cars MUCH safer.

I am surprised that flash light car battery charger doesn't have a solar panel to charge itself with. Maybe they will add one. Then the person can charge the battery in the flashlight charger and the vehicles at the same time even. Even if they make it a big as a mag light it would be a more reliable system for charging a full sized vehicle battery.

To be fair, I immediately thought a similar thing. Who is it that would actually buy any of this stuff & have it in your car. Its the opposite of convenience. Things sticking out of places, onto windscreens, wires everywhere, all the while causing all sorts of distractions. Nonsense

The aftermarket one in the video seems a little goofy to me, but I've got a C8 Corvette, and they all come equipped with digital rearview mirrors, and it is MUCH BETTER than a conventional mirror.

Damn. That CarAIDE is pretty gigantic for only 8,000mAh. I've seen 25,000mAh battery banks half the size, and for like $20. Hell, my phone has 5,000mAh.
