I have a 2016 e250 I have a problem with my blind spot rear right , I switched the module right to left and left to right to see if makes any difference. But the warning still came on , Could it be the wiring?
How can Mercedes place something especially as delicate as a sensor and not seal it 100% to make it waterproof? How ridiculous this is? I am having this problem I. Minnesota where it snows so heavily and the dealer is quoting $2500 to replace the sensor!!! Just can’t understand how stupid Merc can be with something as sensitive as a sensor! I wish I didn’t have this sensor at all!
Yes it's a common problem the connector corrodes internally, 2500 is a lot of money, I would look for an independent shop that has experience working on Mercedes,
Dude you're so cool, thanks for the detailed breakdown
