Time For Chaos is a playthrough of Masks of Nyarlathotep for the 7th Edition Call of Cthulhu role-playing game system by Chaosium.
A mysterious lost expedition sets in motion an epic globe spanning adventure as investigators come face to face with ancient evils beyond the scope of human comprehension. Often considered the greatest role-playing game campaign ever written, Masks of Nyarlathotep stretches the boundaries of horror, driving both characters and players insane since its publication in 1984.

I would pay $25 without a second thought for an in person Time for Chaos.
Can't believe Noura's bookworm character has 75 Strength. She must be lifting some massive tomes and is ripped as hell!
She's bench pressing entire encyclopedia sets
Basically Lady Dimitrescu, but less monstery.
I was just gonna say. She must be hitting that university gym HARD during her down times XD
PArt amazon warrior
You even research bro?
I for one think a Kickstarter for an in-studio Season Three is a great idea, both in and of itself and because it sounds like a really good step for the GCN as a whole. You do everything else so well; it'd be great to see what you do with a Kickstarter campaign.
I think that’s a great idea in general, for smaller games… since Troy commented about new shows needing sponsors, I’ve been worried the games will become limited
Kate’s camera superiority
This show is quickly becoming one of my favorites on the network
than its good that we will have propably at least 4 more seasons to come
same, at first I was kinda unsure because I didn't know who half the crew was but man after that first episode I was hooked.
For season 3! Don’t make us wait too long!
Absolutely S03 should be in person!
Every friday its chaos christmas
Ross's offhand reference to "crossing the Rubicon" makes me want to eventually see a Glass Cannon series playing the Roman RPG, Lex Arcana.
the frequency of rob's 90+ rolls are insane lmao
Pedantic side thingy: I believe that actual sailors say "ship" when they refer to anything large enough to require a complex crew, while "boat" refers to dinghies, canoes, tugs, and other small craft. So calling a sailor's ship a "boat" could be considered an insult.
Shut up and take my money for that kickstarter for season three
I want this same crew to do an Aliens rpg game
Oh, that's such a great idea! This cast + Alien Jawn would rock!
As with all kickstarters, depending on perks/cost this is one i’d happily contribute to - CoC in-person? Yes, please.
Season 3 in person would be great, but I'm so addicted to your Masls campaign that I would say: the sooner season 3 arrive, the better. If you could do season 3 and 4 in a row it would be even better. Masks is the best show of GCN with Delta green Impossible Landscape/ Get in the trunk.
Definitely with Noura, tickles==you are in danger now.
In person recording is a gold mine especially for this group!! Pls 😢
...and fire in the sky! ❤
In person, damn yes!
In person season would be ace ⭐️
I would 100% kick in a cash bump for footage of a season filmed in studio.
Share a London Fog with your friends
Cricket spiders! The dark union that is real...
*bought keepers book, investigators book and Nyarlathoep.*
I would pay for it too! I am already excited for the Denver show. Wish i could go to GenCon and see CoC live.
In person would be great.
Season 3 in the studio, I'd back that shit up! 🙌💀🥲 That's how much I love you guys from the Glass Cannon and how much I love this show and Call of Cthulhu. This is one of the best if not the best shows on the internet about this beautiful amazing game. ❤
Studio show- yes!
I would love to see the reaction of anyone who might have caught Troy taking a picture of the urinal.
Louts, seamen and fogtopus.
F* yes! Season 3 in person - bring it on!
Cthulhu IS the ultimate tickle monster
Wow - Another super awesome episode🥰 Simply an awesome group and Troy is a rockin Keeper🥰 Ty ty all🥰
I would 100% back a live show kickstarter. I absolutely love Time for Chaos, some might even call me a super fan. I listen to it in tidbits throughout the week while folding laundry, or cooking dinner.
Any damn chance to get Ross Bryant in NYC so I can meet him would get a 50 dollar dono from me
I would definitely throw a couple bucks to upgrade this and get in the truck to in person playing.
I really liked that Troy sort of hinted that the bad guys thought they might be able to recover the missing stuff, so the players actually had a chance to figure out that the apartment was going to be raided.
I find playing these games an absolute tonic, and almost therapy. We get to hang out (virtually or irl) with our good friend's. We get to solve puzzle and mysteries. We get to fight the good fight and save the innocent.
These games are such a pleasure, and a real tonic for the soul. Just watching you guys is enough for me to improve my Sanity and luck. Big heartfelt applause to all of you. ❤
Another amazing episode and done watching just in time before my own call of cthulhu game. These episodes always give me so much inspiration and hype for my own games ❤
Need time for chaos recorded in person!
Thinking about in studio Time for Chaos makes my legs quiver.
Omg that ending. They know everything! 😅
Fun Episode.
I love Nora's big beautiful brain! That idea with the fire was genius D&D IQ=100
Season 3....Yes Please
In studio? Yes please!
It would be so cool if you guys could make season 3 happen in person! Would love to see it!
Start that Kickstarter. Now. And take my goddamn money.
And I want my money back if the Kickstarter doesn't pull through.
Step 1: Brew an Earl Grey tea at double strength (either using half the water or twice the tea called for). Earl Grey with lavendar is my favorite for this recipe
Step 2: Add heavy spoonful of sweetened condensed milk or two to four pumps of a lightly flavored or unflavored syrup, plus a splash of whatever dairy or dairy alternative milk you have in your fridge (best plant milks for it in my experience are almond and oat, but use whatever you like). Stir
Step 3: Garnish with whipped cream and/or a light shake of cardamom
Enjoy your super simple London Fog while watching or rewatching this episode.
Earl Grey is the Devil’s brew! It’s like drinking perfume! 😉
Milk? In Earl Grey? HERESY!
@@jamesthelimey1738 [sip sip sip] sorry, i couldn't hear you over my delicious London Fog with its delicate floral notes and full bodied base black tea [sip sip sip] mmmmm bergamot and lavender
Lol, my little brother said the same about jasmine pearls and i was like "sweet, more for me"
@@therocketboost is it really heresy if it's this good tho? Admittedly, it is even better with a big scoop of french vanilla ice cream if you don't mind it served cold
@@seraphinasullivan4849Enjoy! 😂
So I just stumbled across this series three weeks ago. I have now listed to all of season 1 and am just starting this episode in season 2. I would love to see season 3 happen in person. Might even get me to watch instead of just listening. I love what you all are doing. Keep up the good work and remember insanity is just the beginning!
Glad you found us!
Great ep. Would be happy to contribute to a level that gets us an in person TFORC season 3. Let’s go mystery squad !!!
Amazing show.
Yeah I would shell out for a studio version/session of this game. Its the best ttrpg show online.
Im currently preparing to run Masks for my friends, and i am SO inspired by this series. I plan to emulate as much as i am capable from all your inspiring play.
Nice! Let us know how it goes!
Just putting this out there because I think you've all forgotten about it:
If Troy checks pages 127-128 in the NY chapter, the part about the reading of Jackson Elias' will, you'll be reminded that the PCs don't have to worry about money at any point!
Just send the receipts to Carlton Ramsey and he'll reimburse them.
I’d instantly pay $50 towards an in person kickstarter without hesitation.
Ok maybe $75…ok $100 just take my money!
What are pros for in person GCN? Performers are paid more? Yes! Otherwise it is fun bant and camaraderie? The zoom games seem fine to me, I love them. I have seen tons of zoom games. Anyway, if folks want in person Time for Chaos then I will pledge that kickstarter.
I was so glad to see the ad for GitT!
btw is the network intro handmade or can I find it somewhere? its so dope.
Rob's dice are just so hilariously dickish, I almost hope he continues using them for future narrative nonsense lol.
Id like to see some in person games for sure, the energy is different, it allways seems better
TROY! I WANT IT TROY! I WANT IT SO BAD! TFC is my favorite show by far. I love all of your networks stuff but there is something about the energy of this show and this cast that I just love. And I think in person would be AMAZING. If you do a kickstarter I'm in.
I also would instantly pay for this awesome stuff in person!
Unexpected Alan Wake monster
Do it live. That would be awesome
In person season 3, make it happen!!
In person!
Ah ya. Watch the p2e gates and smattering of others but this, this has an absolutely dream cast and such good role play. So good
No promises but I’d put it like this. If there was a kickstarter for GCN i’d contribute too, it’ll definitely be Time For Chaos.
weirdly, I rather like this format over the shared table -- to me, it allows the player to feel more relaxed, and that adds something. All at the table would be cool but I think we'd lose something if we did that. just my .02
finished. looked forward to the mist thing. :) didnt disappoint.
In person would be amazing
All I hope is that it’s not over a year between seasons 2 & 3. If that means a Credit Rating roll, so be it.
My wife hates tickles she will literally cry makes her sad.
If I was done with the ship I would burn it to the water line.
1:57:05 Incorrect, sir! Every attack is an opposed action. She may fight back/dodge every attack that comes her way in a combat round.
You should come and do the recordings/shows in London!
There isn't much difference in cost in flying from LA to either NY or the UK.
We can show you around all the places you've been playing, and I want to show Ross the Jane Austen improv show, Austentatious, that's currently playing in the West End.
1:01:05
Yissss!
Personally I will be the contrarian and say I wouldn't prefer season 3 to be done in person. Fatigue might make later episodes shot in succession suffer.
If the benefits outweigh the costs and other detriments I wouldn't oppose the idea.
Personally I just prefer the current layout, 5 cameras with everyone looking at the screen.
But don't let my opinion spoil the fun. As always you guys do great. Keep it up!
Yeah in person is way better for chemistry & banter
F yes! please!
Did the Taxi driver set them up by leaving them in the fog. He did despite what he said drove off?
In person for sure, just show me where to dontate
Horror of horrors - I'm up to date! I only get 1 a week now, how will I survive?
