As much as I like Brennen and (some) Chaosium, this one is my favorite because, unlike every other online RP stream I've ever seen, it feels natural, like a kitchen table session, like the cameras are off, instead of try hard.

For some reason, video actual-play episodes have never been able to hold my attention. Audio podcasts? Fine. Video? Can't do it.
Until the first installment of this scenario. Since then I've been bingeing Glass Cannon videos. These guys are amazing. And Seth, you're always fantastic, so this is just the ultimate in actual-play presentations. Thank you for introducing me to this group.

@@sub-jec-tiv I'll check them out. I'm not a fan of over-the-top productions, either, when it comes to actual plays. And what I've identified after watching GCN for over a year now, is that I'm mostly drawn to how much fun these folks are obviously having. More reminescent of actually playing with friends at a table than any other I've seen (to date, anyway).

Wow. I was sceptical at the beginning of the playthrough as I usually find such kind of videos boring. But very soon I realized how much I like this two-parter. An interesting story, good pacing, nice chemistry between the players. Hope to see something like this again.

Darn, I was hoping when he started saying "trick of the light" that he was going to reference the Men in Black scene about swamp gas catching the light of Venus off a weather balloon, or however it went.
Man, if the opportunity came up to get art done of the scene of the four of you following the trail as Chuck was filming, I might be willing to spend money on it. All of you wearing Go-Pros, reporter with a freshly discarded jacket stalking forward with a hunting rifle, cameraman with on hand steadying the camera and the other holding a leatherman knife, producer white knuckle holding a tire iron, and the intern with a chain wrapped around his arm and bolt cutters in the other hand. That just feels like a priceless image.
    That combat was a blast.

Have you checked out the Flotsam and Jetsam stuff I've been doing with them? Frieda May is probably my favorite character ever. Sadly the pie scene in the first adventure was lost due to some audio glitch, but everything she says is wonderful.
