Getting to be an NPC in this game is one of my favorite ttrpg experiences ever! Thank you for having me, for playing with me, and for wanting my character to LIIIIIIVE!
❤
Live! Live! 😆
Shout out to Noura Ibrahim too!!
Mark Meer you absolutely nailed it as Keeper!
I cannot stress it enough, this one was magical ! congrats to the whole team !
Having other players as non-player characters. It added some incredible interactions. I copied it in one of our campaigns where a friend joined as the boss level baddie!
So glad there is a good probability for more in this Arkham series.
What a fun unexpected video. Fascinating to hear some of this behind the scenes information.
This was such a great series. Mark as Keeper did a great job of keeping the main narrative on track while still giving the players space to go where they wanted. Extremely interesting and creepy story. Great roleplay and character development / interaction by the cast. The NPCs were super. The costumes and set, lighting etc. Top marks across the board. Really hope to see more like this and Bookstores as the production quality is super.
This was quite possibly the best ttrpg Ive ever seen
Great to see all the hard work behind the scenes, it really showed in the professional look of the whole production.
Nice work all! These were such a cool take on the live play genre more akin to LARP (I love regular actual play too- Chaosium’s weekly Aussies and Glass Cannon’s CoC series especially). Production here was really detailed and impressive. Also, Mark Meer’s place looks exactly like I would imagine. 👺
Fascinating look behind the curtain. Thanks for not only including the talented cast, but also the writers and director.
Two excellent Call of Cthulhu RPGs - so entertaining and creepy scary at times!
Thank you so much Chaosium, Belinda, Darren, Mark, the cast of investigators, the guest NPCs, the director, the costume designers, the crew behind the scenes and all the Kickstarter backers - such a wonderful team, creating new Lovecraftian classics. Hope Chaosium release Bookshops and Graveyards in a double edition slipcase set sometime soon…
Is there any chance that you create a playable module/resource of this with all the detailed info necessary? I would so like to share this story for with my players, I enjoyed it so much watching, I can only imagine how great it would be to play it! Thanks in advance!
This cast and story was excellent. There were some deeply moving moments, a couple of which made me literally SOB. Amazing work. So glad the YT algorithm actually got it right in recommending the series and the channel to me!
Absolutely loved this series. So happy to hear more from cast & crew. ❤
Pleeeease do another one of these! Churches of Arkham, Secrets of Arkham, Attics of Arkham, heck I'd turn up rapt and ready for Mark's choice of Haberdasheries of Arkham in a heartbeat! I also want to see more of Mr Sleet, so in the vein of something seemingly innocuous that could turn out much darker, how about Diners of Arkham?
I loved your guys work I really hope we can see more of these stories be told
Josephine mccadams Vic really shook me his insanity nd the good doctor was so perfect, big Betty was great comedic relief, nd Theodore broke my heart, thank you for sharing this grave story!
Next stop: The Postal Service of Arkham, seeing the cooperation between Arkham's Ghouls under Mr. Sleet and young Peter Simpson of the USPS...
Congrats and thanks again to everyone involved with the show, loved it!
Loved it. Hope we get another one soon. ❤
I would invest millions and millions of dollars into this stuff
Loved this show IMMENSELY. This has been my only CZcams for the past 3-4 days. Question I'm dying to ask: Mark, was Mr. Sleet was based on Dark City's Mr. Sleep?
This was such an amazing series to watch. This recap was delightful as well. I’m going to be running a game of my own soon with some buddies, exploring spooky Canadian backwoods weirdness. Thanks again!
Great cast and show. I actually just listened to the whole show but I listened to this and went back to see the costumes and wow.
I wish they would teach more of the actual game options to the people playing the game so they could do more from the game in the live play. I thought there was some very bad role playing that could have been much better if the "players" knew more about the things they could do during game play to enhance the "game".
