I personally love seeing session 0. love seeing the characters being made. Its my favorite part of playing / watching the game. I wish more of the other shows on different channels would show session 0 like you guys do. Adds a lot.

Glass Cannon has become my favorite channel for table top RP. A ton of quality content and great personalities. I found you guys when searching for some play of Twilight 2K and enjoyed it. Since then keeping up with new show seasons and consuming the older content has been great.

The question really is, how many times has Cumstone already done this, are we really sure this is the first time? Would certainly explain how he was able to beat Lyudmilla Pavlichenko's confirmed kill count if the memory of his kill count is bleeding between time loops.
Also, I'd forgotten that Skid came into this with no character concept and saying he was out of creative impulses--and then, among the purest role playing characters in all of GCN. Bravo! (again)
This channel does a better job of interesting character creation than I think any other groups I have listened to. Fantastic work.

"Heavy" by Collective Soul is my Delta Green opening credits jam. Just imagine dossiers for each character with photos of them doing shady shit every time the chorus hits. (Released in 1999, close to the right timeframe.)
In the Call of Cthulhu game he runs Troy mentions how he is trying to make the local birds love him and everything and Cumstone is a bird guy... hmmm how interesting.
I just finished watching the cyberpunk red mini campaign and was wondering why we haven’t seen any more Francis on the network, I’m so excited for this!

So I dunno much about Delta Green. The way I've heard it described is like Call of Cthulhu meets X-Files where the characters are like a special branch of the FBI or something?

This is my second time through--this series is so good and it just keeps getting better as it goes along. On Sydney's "stamp police" character: obviously those who have seen the series know she is both a badass and kind of the center of the team. But rehearing the character creation, I had to look up "value of stamps sold" in the U.S. per year. It's well over $4 billion--meaning an obvious target for counterfeiting and discounted resale.
Ok. Starting season four for the 3rd time now. It’s what you gotta do while waiting for the next season.
This series is so good giving it one more watch.

ok my break from ttrps is over! how can I stay away with content like this being created. I tried to kick my CZcams addiction. I hit the road went to some Phish shows then followed a pink Floyd cover band that's really dives deep into the psychedelic parts of the pink Floyd catalog. called the Machine. I have a brake until my birthday in July until Phish tour starts back up for 4 more weeks. so I think its time to catch up on what I missed. I have been on the road since April. I stated deep diving into CZcams UFO channels. wow is that a rabbit hole you don't want to go down. lol. it's interesting but the drama is to nuts. think I'll stick with my comedy TTRPG streams. lol. If your going to the bathroom 4 or 5 times night you might need to go to the doctor. You guys pulled me right back into ttrpg. You have a ton of amazing shows going on. I have a little time before phish tour starts back up. I'm hoping to catch up before we hit road again. Delta green is one of my favorites. I know troy or was it grant wasn't big on shadowrun. But I love both delta green and shadowrun. They just need a good GM for shadowrun one that Really knows how to spin corporate Intrigue. If you like delta green style stories I highly recommend checking out the author Jonathan Mayberry and his Joe Ledger series. it's been going for a while now I think like 12 years so there's a lot of books but start at the 1st and work your threw it they are amazing and he actually starts bringing Lovecraftian horror in the last 4 books or 5 books. The Audio books are extremely well done. That's where its really at with Joe Ledger books. Ray Porter does a Ridiculously amazing job at voicing Joe Ledger and narrating the story. Jonathan Mayberry is really good at painting a picture of a fight scene in the theater of the mind. His stories just seemed to jump to life.

Season's 1-3 are audio only and originally Patreon exclusive, though we have recently released Season 1 on public podcast feeds.

I am so excited to finish the current game I'm running so I can run a Delta Green campaign. This game is so cool and I'm looking forward to the rest of season 4!
six twelves are 72, so with francis getting a single twelve, and all other numbers lower, he's definitely disadvantaged compared to those that point bought their stats. Not sure with this game how much those stats will actually impact the ability of the character to be effective/fun to play, but if i were to be running that game, i'd allow players to roll their stats THEN choose if they want to keep that or use point buy.
In Delta Green skills are way more important. Stat like INT has very little use. It's basically a stat a GM can use to help players with idea rolls, but if you're good at figuring things out yourself, it's a dump stat always. That's something I don't really like in DG or newest Call of Cthulhu version. In older BRP games like RuneQuest stats would actually impact skill base values. Like high INT would make your knowledge skills be higher or high STR or DEX would increase your physical skills, or if those were low, then it would cause negatives. Some people just didn't like that because it would make you change all your skill values when a stat goes up or down. Which wasn't that common.
Doesn't really make sense to me to a have low INT doctor for example. But you can in DG.

Yes! Just know that this may make you want to listen to the previous seasons. Although Rodger has previous history in the other seasons, his character will be treated freshly, if that makes sense.

As a complete newcomer, I have no idea who Roger Cumstone is, but he seems wildly unappealing just from that little vignette. It's probably lack of context, but I don't get what made people laugh about him. I do hope he's interesting going forward.
Fair enough. Roger has a bit of a history that might help explain him. But he's not easily explained. We definitely urge you to give him a chance though. This season shows some very interesting sides of the Cumstone. @@TheGlassCannon I have continued listening (on the start of episode 2, I have an irregular commute), and I did like your stuff when you teamed up with Seth Skorkowsky for the Intimate Encounters one-shot, and I am interested in going forward since I adore Impossible Landscapes, so I do hope Roger picks up. If I really like your stuff I may buy access to your older stuff, but that's a big if. It was actually a bit of a turn off to find out a lot of your content is paywalled, but c'es la vie.
And actually that's why I left a comment in the first place, it felt wholly alienating going into that scene (It was the first instance of RP in the entire campaign!) and then going back and finding out I had to pay for the privilege to be let in on the joke of why everyone seemed so excited to listen to an utterly unappealing dude do unappealing things. Meanwhile the cast are hooting and hollering and cracking up after every line he says while I'm waiting for this deeply unpleasant sounding person to do ANYTHING compelling or sympathetic or interesting and... I mean no offense, but that was a seriously bad first impression.
