- This $7 a night room in Pokhara, Nepal, is the best value accommodation I’ve found so far on this trip, with it’s price being good as well as having all the amenities one needs like backup power, fast wifi, a quiet location, excellent hot water pressure, roomy enough, and only being a short walk to shops, bars and restaurants.
I also take a short walk then taxi into the main Lakeside centre and chat with a local taxi driver.
Pokhara is a great budget travel location.

I loved staying at K2 hotel and to relax in Pokhara. I got the fancy room with the amazing view for just a few more dollars! I also liked to stay just a bit outside of the center of the town. It was alsi nice meeting you there!!
K2 is one of the best value hotels I've stayed in anywhere with the owner and family being great hosts. I agree just being outside of the main tourist centre is a good option with K2 close enough to enjoy the restaurants and bars if you like, but far enough out to hang with the locals.
