On my first day in the country I was deposited in a company house and I ran out of cigarettes, I had no local currency and when I went looking for a currency converter to buy some. A local who was washing his car politely informed me that they would all be closed as it was the Sabbath. The sheer arrogance of our countries leading agenda pushers and a lot of the citizens, is quickly sadly pushing me out of love with the country. I just do not agree with the way ideologies are being forced upon us and I'm not willing to sit back and keep my mouth shut. Qatar is a wonderful place to live, I've been assured this repeatedly by friends who've lived there for years. They work hard, have their beliefs, stuck by them and aren't so weak to be ruled over by the excruciating amount of bullsh*t narratives pushed by our leaders and media.
