The strong just keep getting stronger….effectively there are five teams playing in the premier league.

Surely the Everton players know and they try to keep their focus only in the playing field.
But in the end this matter is psychological and of course it comes to the mind of the players now and then, so the Premier League is affecting the performances of Everton just right now.
In the first place it, after the initial shock, it galvanised Everton for a while, but now when the appeal decision is dragging on, it affects negatively.
So if the Premier League's Appeal Board doesn't return Everton at least most of those 10 points inside the coming days, they are really "taking sides" and the word "corrupt" is valid!

Sorry if this is a naive comment, but why is bending the rules regarding ffp in the Premiership different from an efl side going in to administration? It's a similar mismanagement of funds issue when all said and done. They get an automatic penalty of 10 points OR MORE (unless you're Leicester). How can Carragher and Co be so astounded at this penalty imposed on Everton. I have no axe to grind with them, but my only sympathy for them would be if they were to be penalised twice in one season, while the powers that be fail to deal with Man City at all!

Reason it's being held up, PL opened can of worms in the decision of points deduction, and not maybe sanctions for buying and selling players. PL are not being truthful around what the policies are in relation to judgements given out. That is the reason supporters and clubs are concerned about. Administration equalled points deduction. Not paying players equalled points deduction. Overspending as everton did, ? Nothing written down around that judgement. Just an enee meanie miney mo pick.

What Simon Jordan is saying is that Everton’s punishment is proportional, when it clearly isn’t AND he’s happy that the appeal has no veracity .

How the Dirty PL can penalized the team when the money issues were not on the players but that dam stadium! Should have dont something against the owner not team. Only 1 team hasn't got a penalties kick this year.....Everton. Blind eye when they taken down all year. Premier league is 💩💩run by 🤡🤡. Some teams do whatever others can't. Simon 😶😶😶

Building the new stadium has cost everton with regards to psr. The loss of naming rights thanks to government sanctions and the change in the way interest payments were accountable were no fault of the clubs. We are basically being punished with a sporting sanction for adding £1.4 bn to the economy, creating thousands of jobs which will regenerate North Liverpool. The PL is a joke.

Jordan, Jordan, Jordan! You have just committed a schoolboy playground error of judgement! Against an owner who has made many mistakes with his money and his friends wishing to achieve success and sustainability for the club he bought!
I don't understand what ensured you failed as an owner of Crystal Palace after making millions! The mitigating circumstances, what are they?
We all know the ambitions of Mr Moshiri and his close friend for Arsenal, to make them a Super Club!
Bill Kenwright, RIP! He sold his passion to Mr Moshiri. Someone once said, "Once Everton has touched you, nothing will be the same!"
I think Mr Moshiri wanted to transfer those ambitions to Everton, and his close friend was willing to support the aspiration.
Other than very poor decisions, there are mitigating circumstances that most of us understand and yet cannot digitally express!
Mr Moshiri and Bill Kenwright have potentially left a legacy; structurally, they extended their further commitment to the Scouse Social community values for the people of Liverpool. Everton as a club and the original founding members of the Football League have all left a global legacy.
    What did you do?

    Ridiculous from Jordan 🤣
I'm on board with saying the players lead a privileged lifestyle but as if players don't have feelings and emotions just because they are rich...
Of course the uncertainty will be on the players minds. He probably doesn't think that the deduction had no positive psychological impact on the Luton players who looked dead and buried before. Yet suddenly had a great run of form.

This is all caused because clubs are stupid and pay all their players far more than they are worth. If they all got together they could stop all this madness.

It affects approach to every single game from Everton and Luton. If Luton knew Everton were getting points back they’d be going more all out for wins. And if Everton had 10 points back they’d be playing with much more confidence. Jordan never kicked a ball in his life I bet
