County jail visitation on Valentine's day was always full if there where visits. You had to show up and line up 3 HRS BEFORE for it and still might not get in for a visit. One year my now ex (deceased) I knew what window he could see out to the parking lot from his block. I went up put money on his books and sat right outside that window so he could see I came up there for him. Back then they would give you the slip to sign for the money you where putting on the books and would give them to the inmate right away. I sat out there until after visitation when he finally got the receipt and came to the window just so he would know that there was no Jody lol
He was waiting transfer to state at the time.
I think Jody deserves his own APS video.

You talk a lot about the ladies out here who never show up to visits and don't answer the phone or leave their men, but I haven't heard much about all the guys inside playing dozens of women at a time, making them all think they are coming home to them when they are released and they bounce or just disappear after years of loving support. I would like to hear a former inmate's perspective on the business of pen pals. Even the inmates who aren't gay but write and get into relationships with gay men for the money. Thoughts?

I was dumped just before it hit midnight on the 13th 2020, so practically Valentine's Day. I had a big teddy bear and a card in the shopping trolly and I got the text. I cried. I had a lovely valentines date with my new girlfriend today in London though. ❤️

If your spending the day single/alone just remember somewhere there is someone who is with someone who forgot about allergies and they are having to be rushed to the ER due to a reaction. And there is another couple somewhere out there that are together only because they both feel like that's the best they can do and get disappointed in what little effort the other puts in. Being single/alone you know what the day will bring
Ive never experienced prison, but I've definitely experienced heartbreak. I think knowing that that the other person thought it out to not be honest disengage from your relationship. It's a terrible feeling. People be honest, and tell a person NO if you need too. Leaving somebody hanging is what drives people insane

Been married 11 yrs, my hubby is out of town working ( not "really" working) I got a text saying Happy Valentines Day. No phone call. Nothing. My son brought me a rose and my other son ( on a cruise right now) even called from Mexico to tell me Happy Valentines day. This was just a good as shit funny stuff. Joes comin back up. Not sure but it seems like Joes finding the comedy style groove again. It might be just me but this is one of the best of all times not the best but it goes up there higher on the list. I am a following fan no matter what as much as I can anyway but spread the word everyone especially the ones that slowed down on Joe and tell them Joes still here and hasn’t went anywhere. With all that said I’m a comedy type person so that’s the stuff I like most. Support from Southern Indiana.

I saw that very same thing in the visitation room on Riker's. My friend came to visit me, and a couple tables over dude from my housing unit was visiting with a girl. About an hour into the visit another girl comes in, the first girl jumps to her feet because she already knows what's up, and the two girls start screaming and shoving each other. The guards put a stop to it when they started grabbing each others' hair. My two hours was up at that point, so I was in the next group to go back, as was he since the guards kicked both girls out. The amazing part is, by the time our group got back to the housing unit, everyone already knew what had happened in the VI. The guards had to have been in on it. There is no other way word could have travelled that quickly.
