Mason is probably dead (could still be kicking). Adler is just a newly introduced BO character, so he'll be on GW.

Why is everyone expecting ships of the requiem cast? Everyone’s DNA was used in possibly making Ava with dr Grey being the main contributor of egg and base genetic information, possibly there’s a chance due to aetherium radiation that caused changes in all of them, remember that they consumed perk colas and worked closely with the undead and crystals. It’s why ravenov says that “they” are proud of her, because she was supposed to be a replacement for maxis in the event Sam remembered everything/ got corrupted while in the dark aether.

random plot twist, what if maxis and ravenov are Ava’s parents. What if Ava is a baby from the dark aether. So at the end of cod 2024 we might rescue maxis’ baby instead of her. Ravenov talks about maxis way too much, meaning they were probably in a relationship at some point. When he swipes on the pad he spends no time on grey. He swipes straight to maxis and stops.

Guys Grey isnt bi, Ava specifically asks ravenov what Requiems atherium research was really about? This leads me to believe that the group used the dark aether vials to create a person with dark aether abilites. I also believe Ravenov is her dad tho, cause she has blonde hair and ony ravenov has blonde hair. She also mentions how hes aged way to well which means he was probably injected with an atherium solution of some kind.

Can someone fill me in here, I didn’t play Cold War zombies and I haven’t followed a story line since bo2, I have a basic understanding of deadbolt and Jansen and home boy crazy pants. But I’m missing what this new mission brought into play here. Thankkkkkk youu
In the 80s, Ravenov was part of a CIA lead group that was investigating Aetherium while also trying to sabotage Omega, a KGB lead group who was basically doing the same thing except for the Russians. Samantha Maxis, who was now an adult, went MIA after sacrificing herself in the fight against Forsaken, who was a Dark Aether entity. The whole Dark Aether thing hasn't really been resolved yet. Omega dissolved and Requiem is all split up. Now new events involving the Dark Aether are occurring, and we have a new player in Terminus Outcomes trying to get involved, except they're doing it for profit reasons. We don't really know yet why the Dark Aether is reactivating after being sort of bound up in Cold War. I expect that Gulf War later this year will hopefully fill those gaps. And hopefully also explain what became of Requiem and other important characters such as Dr. Peck
Cold war is the main juice of the current story, no point even trying to understand it without playing cold war.

Requiem could just be a smaller part of a much larger story.
Not really, the Remaster/Remake universe likes to use real dates and timelines for events, and since the Gulf War happened in 1990-1991 and Zombies storyline for MWZ takes place after the events of MW2 but before MW3 (Meaning 2022), then 31 years had passed since what happened in the Gulf War era of zombies.
All we know right now, is that Peck was heading to retrieve the missiles Requiem fired into the ocean during the Outbreak in the mountains. We have no idea what he has planned beyond that currently. Richtofen still hasn't been talked about since we last seen him in Forsaken, nor do we know what PROJECT: JANUS is at the moment either. All we do know is that Grey, Carver, Weaver, and Strauss are currently KIA in the MWZ era, and Maxis is still in the Dark Aether somewhere (which she might be the Entity). Something clearly happened within the thirty years that passed after Cold War but before MWZ.
