So, Grey is the birth mother of Ava, Samantha & Ravenov being the biological parents. I wonder if this has something to do with the samples and ultimately it led to Grey having the kid.

@@Deathmare235It’s hard to say, I doubt they’ll answer this here til Gulf War. But I don’t think so? I am not a hundred percent sure. Usually when a surrogate/birth mother conceives a child, it’s usually consisted of DNA of two, and with Sam & Ravenov being a match makes the most sense.
So that ”egg” isn’t Grey’s but the samples are consisted of Sam & Ravenov, Grey is just basically the deliverer.
Surrogate wise, Grey is the mother. Biologically due to the samples are Sam & Ravenov, it’s not like the two actually did anything.
Given that Requiem did this, I wouldn’t be surprised if this was done to other people, but by Ava being unique she was likely the first among the successful children.
It’s so convenient that the only important content for MWZ is cutscenes because that way I can watch all of them without needing a 100+ GB game installed, I can just watch them on CZcams.

That would mean he's trying to rebuild the Agarthan Device, right? Wasn't the reason for him doing that last time because of The Elemental Shard? If that's the case, are there others like Ava we don't know about? And how does Edward know about the device?
More likely with what we know right now he’s probably trying to become the archon for the construct. Or trying to find a way to kill the construct to take its power.
This cutscene is beautiful, seeing the tears in ravenov’s eyes were amazing and just purely heartbreaking. Gotta give the writers props for the scene it was amazing

I’m simply saying that the writing in this was amazing and this is what it should be like across all modes and zombies experiences, at the very the least this level of emotion. I want to be connected to the characters and I got connected to ravenov through this and I hope bo6 continues with emotional and gripping writing again because that’s what zombies is missing

Wow, I gotta say, the way this plot twist was executed was pretty darn cool. Ties in well with the events of BOCW, gives little hints towards where COD2024 is going, it feels really personal to both Ravenov and Ava, recontextualizes Ava's character in a major way, all while heightening the stakes and being further heightened if you were around for the old Aether storyline.
If this was in a normal Zombies mode and the story wasn't heavy lifted through intel, I could see this cutscene being favorited in the community. I'm genuinely looking forward to how MWZ concludes and where it leaves us for COD2024.
unless you’re BRAND new to the story, this wasn’t really much of a plot twist. also, the cutscenes ARE already being favored in the community, it’s like the one thing that the community agree on.

Basically they used Ravenov’s seed, while they used a genetic sample from Samantha. By Grey being the birth mother, they used that simple on her for Grey to have Ava.
By Samantha being in the dark Aether, it wasn’t possible for her to have a kid on her own.

Basically Richthofen doing Richthofen things to people
Grey's the surrogate mother. Essentially they harvest Samantha's eggs and Ravenov fertilises it. This then gets implanted into Grey and she "births" the child, but the genes are from Samantha and Ravenov. This is a real procedure used currently today.

Grey was only the surrogate. Once Ravenov's Sperm was fertilized into Samantha's egg, it was transferred to Grey IVF style I guess.
So they went the surrogate mother route I see where the parents find a person to give birth to their child. Always knew she was linked to Sam but in the sense of being a clone, not her daughter. Only saying that due to her looking a lot like her and almost sounding close to her too.

Grey carried and gave birth to Ava, but it was only due to the samples that Requiem had likely forced on Grey. If we’re talking birth wise, Grey is mother, biologically it’s Sam & Ravenov but that’s only due to their samples.
