The Kroenkes aren't going to pour big money year on year for Arsenal to get back up to top 4. If there is a position for Arsene Wenger in the club with real impact, it would be the equivalent of Chief Financial Office and his job is to increase the club revenue, like the job Manchester United did.

FA Cup already on Arteta's CV, (plus a Community Shield if you count it), £150 million spent in the summer (highest in the league), seven recent signings ALL of which have been a success and play in the first team, THREE players in the last England team and soon to be four when Southgate realises that Maguire cannot even lace up Ben White's boots, lot's of deadwood (including Ozil) gone from the club, still in two cups and only three points off top four!
