I'd love if they ditched story quests as a whole and focused on making more interlude archon quests. Genshin's storytelling and character development would greatly benefit from this change for sure.

They could put that event quests in the legendary misions menú as a aditional section. Or just using Irminsul and making some "memories archive" or something.

they really should. i don’t mind if it’s not even the full event with minigames and such, just the quest.

That would be really cool. They already do this for bosses that we can fight again. So why not events too?

That bridge that was destroyed by an avalanche in Albedo's event was already destroyed when I began playing. Imagine how confused I was back then when I've only started Genshin and never looked at the CZcams videos, only to have found out suddenly that I had friends in Mondstadt when I just literally got into Mondstadt! By making them accessible and repeatable, even if it's just a small side quest of some sort minus all the fanfare, in a book or library of some sort maybe, the continuity issues and "missing pieces" would be corrected. And they can even choose to lock them so you can't progress without them if they want- as long as we don't have these massive story gaps. Like, say, it's a prerequisite for you to meet Albedo first before you can hangout with him. Or you trigger the event when you first set foot on DS. Putting an extra quest in shouldn't be that hard. That'd make the game storytelling more consistent.

Trust me, it makes writing fanfic a pain in the butt having to rely on CZcamsrs to tell me what I missed (joined on 3.5 so I missed a bunch) .

As a person that has only just jumped on this speedwagon which is Genshin Impact, I’m really sad that they do this

I mean if we are talking about the storage space issues i understand. But we already have a feature to delete completed quest data in game. So why not go the other route and make it so we can download these story/Event quests seperately and play through them and after finishing it we can delete them... Then move on to the next one. That would make the issue of not having enough space a problem of the past. I don't see why they can't implement it.

I personally disagree and believe in general there are better story quests then there are events
