  • Well, it's been a while since I uploaded. We're going to have a conversation about a conversation, Dottore and Nahida talking has to be my favorite story moment by far.

    About Dotorre deleting other segments, the way I understand it is that there is a "Original" Dotorre. Meaning the "hypothetical me" is the real Dotorre that is probably somewhere in the Snezhnaya at that time. So this means the Dotorre that Nahida was talking with is a segment of the original and just merely relying the information (the deal with the Dendro Archon) to the real Dotorre. And this means that the Selfish Dotorre isn't the one that deleted the other segment but is a decision agreed by the Original Dotorre. Which means there are still 2 Dotorre that currently existing (the Original and the Selfish version).

      ah thank you for writing down your understanding, i take in information much easier when its in text form rather then voice or noise :D

    Honestly I kinda forgot about how important this cutscene actually was. It just went over my head or something. Looking back now it really was good. I guess I was overall disappointed with Act 5 as I didn't believe it lived up to the hype of Act 2. But that might just be because we knew too much already. They showed the boss fight in the trailer, and I wish they didn't.
    You know what, why am I thinking Act 5 wasn't great?! Alhaitham's plan really through me for a loop and getting to play as other characters instead of just the traveler was awesome. And the scene where we finally free Nahida was great. Maybe I need to watch Act 5 again.

    I think what baffles me the most is the fatui's ultimate goal. Especially now with new information from Fontaine it seems like each harbinger has their own goal or reason to be in the fatui and it really just leaves me confused.

      Basically, the Tsaritsa wants all of the gnoses for an undisclosed reason. As long as the Harbingers' goals don't conflict with her ultimate goal and plan, all is well. It makes sense they would have their own journeys before becoming Fatui and eventually Harbingers, seeing as they're all individuals and not even all from the same place or socioeconomic class. There is a commonality between the ones we know so far, though: They all stand in defiance to the Heavenly Principles one way or another. Jester being a court mage from Khaenri'ah and being cursed, Dottore explicitly breaking the concept of life, Pantalone with his desire to flip the power dynamic between humanity and gods, Arlecchino's existence in terms of the prophecy HP placed, Signora's seering rampage stemming from her rage against Barbatos, Childe as a heretical student of the Abyss, and Scaramouche's goal of becoming a god manually.

    Intresting take on you perspective. 😮 Maybe the Fatui wants the Traveller on their side to overthrow the heavenly principles.

    no music this time so some of the background noise stands out more. Tell me if I should stick to commentary with music.

    The debate between dottore and Nahida was interesting but I can't take seriously how the traveler who fight gods get knock each time that easly...
    Yeah that dottore and the top 3 harbingers are gods level....
    When she say that it was kind of impressive but the traveler already fight god level beings so that doesn't mean anything. Plus we know that not all gods are fighters so that mean even less... Saying that a character is strong means nothing when we already know that the traveler is one of the best fighters (among the characters we know)

      @iosis9324 Před 10 měsíci +3

      The Traveler NEVER defeated the gods by HIS OWN strength, all the gods he defeated were defeated only after strengthening and help from whatever. Dottore was able to put him to sleep because, firstly, he is at the level of the gods, whom the Traveler cannot defeat alone with his own strength, and secondly, he put Traveler to sleep when he lost his vigilance and after tedious battle with the other god. You overestimate the strength of the Traveler very much, maybe when the Traveler returns all the elements, he will be able to defeat the gods alone, but now he can't, and the number two in strength in the entire Fatui organization can easily defeat him.

      @@hirods9889 You wrote it as if he was defeating them without anyone's help. Well, then your comment is even more confusing, how was the fact that the Traveler fight against the gods supposed to help protect him from the hidden attack of another god? He has not learned how to avoid hidden attacks, and even more so from attacks on the mind, in these battles.

      @@iosis9324 i don't know what you find so confusing here. As I already said everything.
      Being ''god level'' mean nothing when we know about Havria, Makoto, and Nahida. Gods that are no fighters.
      But sure I give you the point bc dottore use a mind attack at that time.
      We Will have to see what happened in Fontaine

    This scene puzzled me. It made Nahida look like the dumbest mf in Teyvat. Surely Gnosis is not worth Dottore's clones, he even says it himself - he'll only be nerfed temporarily by that. He already got what he wanted and most likely his and Nahida's paths would never cross again, so it's just a total waste of a Gnosis for no reason. Being driven by personal feelings towards them is unsightly for the God of "wisdom". And the info about the fake sky....she could've just gotten it from Scara if only she was patient and waited a bit. She could've put the negotiations on pause with her bluff, but she gave away two Gnoses for no good reason. The most major L by any Archon so far. Flop after flop decisions wise for the whole Sumeru Archon quest. It didn't bother me when I was playing through it, I just felt indifferent to Nahida like one of those NPCs from the world quests, but when I had time to think about it, the more I did, the more ridiculous she looked. Probably even worse than Ei in my eyes now.
