Team Coco
excels by simply ending the clip without blaring music, a pitch, nothing. A much appreciated experience.
yes not one of those outros on other talk show channels hasn't become super annoying. TeamCoco used to have an intro and even that became a bit annoying after hearing it a few hundred times
But then there’s your comment at the end of it all. A much unappreciated experience.
@@happyscrappy370 what’s wrong with the comment?
@@katrose5179 Felix is actually Leno incognito on the internet. He has been trying to make amends with Conan for years and years now. Us coconuts know about him and have reported him to the police. Conan knows too.
@@happyscrappy370 wow. I honestly did not expect that response or anything like it as your answer. Damn.
Billy Connolly is an international treasure. Bless that man!
The best voice in the world.
Billy Connolly isn’t half bad either
Billy's voice would be great for audiobooks.

I thought mine was!
I remember in the 90s his accent was so strong you couldn't understand half of what he said but was still funny 😄 what a legend
@@90skid26 czcams.com/video/-heTTg57qBk/video.html
Forever Young!
“Alas, housework has become Olympic” 😂
'At last' ;)
700 drunk as hell scotts on a frozen lake throwing rocks at targets. Sign me up.
Wasn't that the battle of Bannockburn?
It's a good laugh
If anyone cares, William Irving was also the name of Robert the Bruce's armorer. So the little joke about Bannockburn was simply that.
@Ad Max You're right, it was serious. This discussion I had jumped into is not though. It's Billy Connolly for god's sake! I'm allowed an irreverent joke now and then I hope? Still, I see your point about Bannockburn.
Ha Ha what could possibly go wrong 🏴🤘
New title: Billy Connolly's Tamest and Most Polite Drinking Story
One the greatest comedians of all time.
The greatest
Yeah his stand up is still GOAT
He definitely blazed the trail ! Alcohol doesn't but its' lessons are definitely worth it ! 😆
Yes, I remember the programme on Channel 4 which had the top 100 stand up comedians as voted BY standup comedians. I think Bill Hicks was no 4.... .....Number 1? Billy Connolly.
Agreed. Even Robin Williams himself mentioned he was a legend.
Reminds me how much I miss Craig Ferguson, the best late night show ever. He and Billy were a blast.
craig is great
Craig is pretty awesome but not the best though sorry but thats just my opinion man
AZOffRoadster good point. Off to watch reruns of Craig right now. Thanks for the reminder.
czcams.com/video/Eha24oKDaKs/video.html
I saw Ferguson on an 80s UK sitcom the other night. Set in Roman-occupied Britain, a place called Chelmsford in the year AD123. Craig plays an actor who pretends to be a barbarian Scotsman.
As a stand-up in the 80s, he had the stage name "Bing Hitler", purely for controversial purposes!!
The all time greatest comedian. It's a shame tae see the Big Yin so restrained. This man will forever own our city.
the Big Yin is now in FULL RETIREMENT from stand up comedy😭 (within the last week. BBCRadio4) because of the brain 🧠 illness. it will be the biggest loss to world 🌎 comedy and because of this....God doesn't care.😊take it easy Big Yin. 🏴 that's the thing about us Scottish, along with the Irish & Jews we have some of the best comedians except the dickheads who think its funny to take the pure cnut out of the audience.
The man's a living legend. Great storyteller, too.
2:54 😂😂 "the telephone is on one of the walls that cuts it down to three" its the little things he adds onto a already hilarious story that just makes it that much better
Actually, BILLY C IS The Best comedian of all time...doesn't rely on physical theatrics, doesn't have "canned" jokes, doesn't use cheap shots, yell, or degrade...just FUNNY AS HELL...GOD BLESS YOU, BILLY!!!!
I just love this guy. Never has been and never will be anyone even close to being as funny as Billy.
So natural. 💚
My gosh what would it be like to have Cleese, Connolly, Greg Davies, and Bill Burr all together for a bit??? I get excited at the thought of it!
@@k.burton3473 They'd all fight for attention is my guess. But hopefully not.
God bless Billy. Went to see him years ago in Dublin and my pregnant wife booked seats near the toilets!! A wise move on her behalf😂
He's an absolute legend. Was lucky enough to see BC in Dublin too, my stomach was sore from the laughter. His observational comedy is spot on.
"I didn't see that many Scots". Mate, that's because most of us haven't seen a salad in about 20 years. Pies out of Greggs and Buckfast and sausage suppers, those are the staples.
" I'm stuck in a glass case of emotion!" - Billy Connolly to his manager
I got to see Billy's standup live and it was one of the most entertaining and hysterical events I've ever been too. God bless him.
People were singing and getting drunk.... That's what I call a sport!
Please give us more human beings like him.
Oh my, I hope this is foreshadowing a Needs a Friend episode with Billy Connolly! I NEED THIS!!!
Absolute genius, my favourite comedian.. and a great musician.
Just Imagine if Billy got a Netflix original standup?
Their viewing figures would not only go through the roof, they'd hit the stratosphere.
Best standup comedian EVER!
If they just managed to release the uncut version of “An Audience With” from the 80s, I’d be happy with that.
@@stofferrussell Do you mean Billy And Albert?
The incontinent joke..." saddle up and ride your pony...Psshhhh. He cares not a jot? Aye, excuse me, I'm just going to empty my underwear?
It is my favourite Billy Connely stint. I still laugh at it even though I see the jokes coming now because I've watched it so much.
@@Marikioable Apparently the "Audience With" was actually an hour and 20 minutes long and it was released on VHS like that. But on DVD and via streaming as well, it's just 50 minutes long.
Hard to watch this in a way. Billy was 2 years in, at this point, after being diagnosed with Parkinson’s in 2012. We all know Billy would be much more animated and move around if he were his whole self. I believe he tells the story on a talk show of when a team doctor/surgeon for a college team noticed Billy walking in and out of a hotel over the course of a few days.....and that he felt he was showing early signs of Parkinson's by the way he was walking. He recommended Billy see his doctor when he got back to Scotland. Billy did just that...and his doctor confirmed the diagnosis. Truly one of the greatest comedians ever...of any time.
Can you line the vid you speak about?
Whilst I agree with you, there is also something brilliant about Conan's reactions, as, although the routines have been doing the rounds in the UK for probably 30+ years, they must have been fairly new to America at this point, so there is something great about seeing Conan's raw reaction to them, as it almost helps to show just how funny Billy is.
@@MrDannyDetail he'd been big in America for a long time too
Connolly was never funny. Too bad he has Parkinson's disease.
It was in an airport, and the doctor was australian, and noticed Billys gait and told him to see his doctor when he went home. I often think of Billy and wonder how his life is at the moment. My husband died from parkinsons and it was awful to see a big strong funny man reduced to a wheelchair, unable to talk or feed himself. I wish Billy well, he has made so many people laugh, and he is kind. Very important to be kind.
Scottish Legend. Glad I met him twice & seen him perform live. My friend from HS played his daughter in the Debt Collector
It's very difficult to be a stand up comedian and not be drunk, so kudos to Billy! 🤣
"I mean.. the telephones on one of the walls that cuts it down to three"
“And it’s hardly a Hampton Court Maze!” 😂
LMAO, stuck in a telephone box.
It's the little things that billy adds on to a hilarious story that is sheer genius 😂😂😂😂
I'm betting that Billy had much crazier drunk stories but this was an answer to a question of why he decided to stop drinking.
pretty sure he partied with the Led Zep quite abit, plus many other elite type rockers.
As someone from the States, I only discovered Connolly in my early twenties; but I'm so grateful that I did. I love this guy for his humor and his humanity.
One of the most charming delightful men in comedy.
He wrote a song about my wee town on the West Coast of Scotland, Sunny Saltcoats, hilarious!😂 Love you Billy,♥️
Colin how's you just watched that 😁, it was called sayonara Saltcoats along with arrivarderci ardrossan with Gerry Rafferty in the humblebums, regards the Clydebank crew😁
The humblebums💚💚💚💚💚
I didn’t know this guy, but already knew he is a comedian after watching the video because his pauses for the audience to laugh is pretty accurate and confident😂
Check out his vids he's one of the greats
Enjoyed that Billy knows exactly how long he has been sober for!!!!!!
His fart story on one of his stand up shows about the bloke on the plane had me in stitches. He is very funny man.
The phone was on one so that narrows it down to three haha dead
Billy's a legend always puts a smile on my face.
Probably the best chat show guest ever - a host's dream.
I only just discovered curling and was absolutely mesmerised at the recent games. Scotland team smashed it!
1:44 “The Luge Doubles was very interesting!”
“People lying on top of each other, I thought that was amazing.”
“OH YEAH!” 😂😂😂
That "vacuum cleaner" line was a great add-on to that joke. I chuckled a bit more.
Has there even been a more natural
Comic than Billy? He just has to talk and he’s hilarious 😂
Thank you for allowing someone to speak without being interrupted as much as you normally do. Big respect to the Big Yin.
Swear to god, this guy, Chapelle, Hicks, and Burr and the funniest people on earth.
When you're really hammered, you usually don't remember what happened but your mates sure as hell do and will remind you... even 30 years later.
Still the best of the best! Amazing and such a shame to see him suffer as he does now. Get better soon you Great great man
He's fine. He says the meds are working
He's a national treasure! This place will be that much dimmer when he departs.
Wha's like us Billy? Damn few! 🏴🏴
love how he waited until they stop applauding his sobriety to say "and it's been hell"
Billy Connolly is a legend
THE master storyteller..... nonsuch elsewhere to be found! One of a kind....
He's soo funny! Love to listen to him!
That was a pretty tame drunken story! He is Scottish, that is not the craziest he has been..
I don’t think he could his craziest at that hour
He prolly doesnt remember the best ones. I don't , people just keep reminding me, lol
The best drunken stories are the ones you don't remember
4 mins from the best of the 2 greatest comedians ever ,,, robin and sir billy, never will ever be replaced,, these guys should be taught from 5 years upwards and show how this world really lives and should be enjoyed
we all need more Billy Connolly!!!!!!!
ive always admired him for so many reasons
You can tell when Conan is really excited and honored by a guest
This guy's the best! Funny as hell.
The best story teller of all time!!!!
For those who havnt seen it watch the Christmas party story Toboggan gag.... one of his best! 👋
You really have to hang on to the last line of the interview. Fantastic!
Billy Connolly the man is a legend
Billy is an absolute gem of a human
Enjoy your retirement, Billy. Thanks for all the laughs.
Correct and had some great TV shows and good musician all rounder 👍
What a delightful man. We should all be in a cozy pub while he regales us with stories.
Loved his role in Boondock Saints !
He is timeless! Amazing and so funny!
I always loved this guy. It's funny, when he said, "Drinking doesn't make you clever." I can tell the audience thought he meant that it doesn't make you witty. In the UK, clever just means smart-for instance you might say, "This student is clever, he could grow up to be a doctor." You wouldn't say that in the US, because here, clever either means witty or wily.
I´ll never forget the day, when I saw a really drunk man crawling around an advertising pillar saying over and over again "F***! Where is the exit?!". And no, it was not Billy. ;)
Unbelievable comedian and storyteller
Been there done that. Brought back memories and laugh out loud.
Saw the thumbnail and for a second i thought it was Leo from That 70's show.
This man is a treasure... And he looks like my Dad.
Billy Connolly is a comedic genius.
He looks like a hippie John Cleese
He is
Don't be fooled by the long hair,
He's not a hippie he likes violence.
Had no idea this wasn't John Cleese until I read your post LOL!!!
LOVE Billy Connolly! And, Conan too.
My favourite comedian of all time
His Scottish❤️❤️😍 makes everything he tells even ten times better
When he's gone I'll cry. Seriously. And I don't cry much.
I feel exactly the same way Antonio
The world's funniest man
as a brit him and david attenborough will be sadly missed when they go
@@kanedNunable Totally agree!
@@kanedNunable as a human being of this world, David Attenborough should have a royal funeral, he's done so much to wake up our planet, as for Billy , his last days should be in my back yard, it's called new Zealand, we love him, I live 2km from where his wife was born, Takapuna, but I guess Australia has claimed her,
We love you Billy, thank you for everything....
I just love Billy he tells the best stories
He makes any observation funny.
Who else saw the thumbnail picture and for a second thought they had somehow time traveled to the future and stumbled upon a video of Rainn Wilson from the 2040's
Just let Billy talk man! He can go for days
The two most hilarious guys on earth talking to each other: Holy F.
Was Billy talking to himself?
"alas housework has become olympic" LOLLL
"At last" I know he's Scottish but I think he says "At last".
boa tarde, uma maravilhosa entrevista muito humorada. Adorei o vídeo.
i love Richard Harris talking about getting drunk....and talking to his boy. So funny
More fun!!
I like that concept
The best stand up comedian of all time.
Much Love for Billy Connelly
Billy Connolly is a comic gem !!
I would love to hear some stories of him and Gerry Rafferty

I ADORE the idea of olympic snowball fights and snowman building competitions! (Curling is truly the best sport ever too)
I absolutely love Billy Connolly. He is a beautiful treasure.
He's one of the best.
The big yin one of a kind 😅😅😭😭🤣🤣
I loved him in That 70s Show
An international treasure ❤️
"Rum! I need rum lads! Rum till I flop!"
His parody of Alanis Morissette was hilarious, 'Evil Scotsman'
He's still so sharp!
I had several plaid pants similar to that in the early 70s. But mine were bell bottoms with a cuff.
Great stuff from the legend
