Love these old Toyota/Lexus cars. Still running my Silver Mk1 GS300!
PWR ECT = Power Electronically Controlled Transmission. In this mode the torque converter remains open for longer, the gearbox revs out a bit more when you floor it and if your cruising and just flex your right angle the gearbox down shifts - you dont have to floor it to provoke the gearbox to change down. With ECT off the converter will lock up as soon as it can and you will have to floor in on a fast road to get it to change down.

I like these as much as a Nissan stagea RS260 which is a Nissan 5 door estate with AWD and the RB26DETT engine what a sleeper it is a GTR estate
yes its a sleeper.
i knew that 20 years ago with my small mortorcycle lost in signal races.
btw, they chose 3.5L V6 NA Engine (like Lexus IS350/GS350) for next Athlete model.
Just bought one and they are awesome!
