Fell in love with the Crown while I studied in Hongkong where they use them as taxi’s. Its an older version but what a car.
As you put it, I am "willing to put up with the idiosyncrasies of a wagon." This is like the perfect car for me. Wagon girl for sure.
Me, too, though those ones seem like they have a *lot* of rear overhang and weight of glass there. (Crowns in general seem bigger than they'd need to be. I'd like the Altezza wagon, though, whatever they were called.) Definitely my Volvo wagon in the wet doesn't want a ton of angle in the wet unless I'm really shedding speed to make a corner, ...which mostly happens in bad conditions, rather than me out to have that kind of fun deliberately. Also forget about drifting in the dry in this motor's case. :)

You can probably play with suspension and alignment to make it behave like a sedan or adapt your driving style around it. After a lot of trial and error, money, time and knowledge, I'm sure you can make it work and it'll be fun too! (for the most part lol)

@@themagnushjort W201 is the C-Class, W124 is the E-Class and W126 is the S-Class.
They have features that look similar, but you can differentiate pretty easily, once you've seen them side by side.

I have a JZS161 GS300 and I love seeing the similarity in small interior details despite them being very different cars.

I have a 2002 Chevrolet Suburban, 5.3L V8 with an open diff. Mines making about 300hp. In the rain, you can drift it pretty easily!
