They all stopped what they were doing as soon as they saw him, some even put their hazards on. Everybody knows that they're out there to have fun and it's better to be safe than to be sorry.
Didn't handle it well at all imho. Don't go on track, there's a crash barrier + a path next to it you can use.

He could have jumped the barrier a bit earlier, but he put himself at risk to avoid other people damaging their cars and potentially getting injured
@@Ikaros--- You don't exit your vehicle but if you do you run to the crash barrier and stay behind it until rescue arrives.
This also shows how poorly organised the event was. There wasn't a functionary on that corner which there should've been or even a number to call in case of emergency.

I mean extra tight has problems of its own as it can shear the bolt. But still, scary stuff.

What im saying is that rotaries with their high redline do actually generate quite a bit of torque up high. This is why the NHRA has banned rotary engines in the past its an unfair advantage. With a fast 10 speed auto and a turbo 13b you will rule the world
I take an F250 and double axle trailer to track days regularly. My FC tows the trailer with the truck on it, and my tyres go in the tray. That way, if I blow a piston ring drifting the FC, I can still drive home and get a good night's sleep before arranging to transport the FC home. Hasn't happened yet though, touch wood.

Almost all cars, that one S15 flipped on its roof, another S14 looked to be smashed on the front. But at least all people were in one piece! No injuries from what we can tell.
4:20 is a perfect example if why I love Japanese car culture, no kids running over with phones screaming, just like-minded enthusiasts making sure everyone is okay and then helping to get the car back on it's feet. All with a smile and a couple of jokes.

This is some serious grassroots style car event, amazing. It probably isn't a bad idea for them to have a couple flaggers in the corners but otherwise a fun looking event.
Refreshing yt and seeing a 1 minute old Noriyaro video gave me the strength I needed to attack the day. Good morning!
The amount of control these guys have to not hit you is seriously impressive! It sucks to be THAT guy, but it was a mechanical error and you handled it well despite the danger of running on the track ;)

Edit: okay the crash and the gearbox offing itself wasn't very "hell yeah".

Love the video hope the S15 treats you better in the future, you really are lucky no one hit you, I'm pretty sure my heart raced more when your car got stuck in the middle of the corner than when you were drifting.

Alexi, I dont think i could watcht that again. Gunsai is cursed enough and seeing the carnage results for some and the dangerous circumstances you and your passenger were in when the gearbox went, i felt like i was gonna die and I wasn't even there.
So grateful you (and your passenger abd the 15) are safe mate.
