  • It wasn't easy but I got my Cannonball Run Record Mercedes-Benz E63 back from the insurance auction. I secured a parts car through Prime Cuts Chop Shop and have sent them both out to Foreign Builds in Sacramento CA to have them return the car to it's former glory.
Subscribe to the Foreign Builds CZcams channel to follow along as they resurrect this piece of Cannonball history!

This is awesome this car is being rebuilt down the street form my house

Little fun fact: the ECO button in your E63 stands for Engine cut off. Here in Germany, many people thought it's some sort of Ecological mode. Engine cut off was used by Mercedes engineers here in Sindelfingen. They never used that term anymore because people in Europe are too dumb to get it.

    How is the rebuild going?

  • @scuffediceposeidon9178

I found the cheapest 2015 E63 in Germany for 39k Euros. Might be around 45k in US dollars. The problem in germany: V8 cars like the amg's, M Bmw's are 90% used by idiotic people who don't spend enough time and money to maintain the engine. Doing 180mph 365 days, even in winter below 0 degrees. Salt everywhere, rusty axles and brake disc's etc That's why I would never buy a car from the Eastcoast
