Great videos, terrible music, traditional Rods & Customs and headbanger music don't compute in my 75 year old brain. Been doing what you are doing since 1963. Thanks! I watch you, Japhands Karl, Iron Trap, & Bellos on a regular basis. I'm glad to see you young guys doing righteous builds. Keep it up, I've got a mute button for the tunes lol

Haha well the person who wrote that music is currently building a traditional model A sedan, has a bitchin 62 Chrysler kustom and over the last twenty years has built his fair share of Kustoms and choppers. So I’ll let him know he needs to stop 😆.

The block plate has nothing to do with the bellhousing. The block plate is there to support and properly index the starter because Fords generally mount the starter to the bellhousing rather than the block. The block plate, in theory, ensures that the start is in the right spot. Love you were able to get that together without having to cut up the car. Everyone can do what they'd like, but some cars just shouldn't be cut up. Clean install!

I design and fabricate parts everyday, so for me it’s much easier and more economical to build my own.
And since designing these, I’ve sold plenty of them to other people doing swaps, which helps generate income to offset the build costs.

Make you plug the back of the heads where the air injection went, 5/8 11 plug and you have to clean out the threads because of all the carbon build up also plug the hole in the side of the block were the dip stick is for the rear sump oil pan. I'm new here and didn't see part 1 and 2 so if you did all that cool and never mind.

Yea! If you look up some of the early production photos, they said Edsel on the quarter panel instead of Comet. And when you start comparing the styling ques from 59 and 60 Edsel, it’s very clear they were destined to be Edsel. The gauge clusters, the taillights (60 Edsel specifically) the trunk emblem and how comet keys have the big “C” engraved in the same font as the big “E” Edsel used. I really nerd out over that stuff haha

Another way to get stubborn pilot bearings out. Make a pin to fit the hole. Fill hole halfway w grease. Insert pin and give a couple of hammer blows. It will creep out...

The brake booster is just a universal “street rod” 7” booster and a 1967 Mustang master cylinder.

Nice work, love the look of that 302. When you did the swap were you able to use the stock coil spings or did you have to change them? Some time around 1984 when I was 15 or 16 I bought a black 2 door comet. Me and 5 of my friends pushed it home. For decades I thought it was a 1960 but after watching all these youtube videos I'm convinced it was a 1961. It had the 170 i6. I got it up and running, put some red quilted gaucho diamond tuft on the door cards, added a weird under dash cassette player and I was off to the races. I loved that little car. I often wonder whatever happened to it. I was and still am on the west coast of B.C.
