My fave Gardein product is the stuffed turk’y with gravy that has been part of our Thanksgiving and Christmas dinner for a few years now.

Gardein is such a great and consistent brand. I like (or love) everything I’ve tried except for the beef tips. I’m not sure if you have them in Canada but the Ultimate Chickn Fillet is their best product in my opinion (with the fish coming in 2nd).
So good and so consistent! We haven't seen the ultimate chickn yet, but hopefully soon!

I LOVE Gardein products!!! My boyfriend (non vegan) buys the filet fish for me but it's for him instead... lollll ! That's means a lot!!!! My favorite? Hard to tell! Love the fish filet and also the chicken stick (in a wrap... OMG!!!). Thanks again for this fun video! It's good to see you again! You seem to have so much fun together :-)

Great taste test! The fish fillets freaked me out too in the same good way. I love the Italian Sau’age bowl. Pricey and not very filling, but great flavor. Completely not related question for Kat ... do you like the bottom drawer freezer?
Gardine products are so many of their products i like. The fish, the sausage,The chicken nuggets with the orange sauce those are my favorites.

Very nice review. I like those kind of videos because when I buy them at the store ( high price ) I dont know if im gonna like them / the look of them and I dont want to waste
My favourites are the fishless filets and the beefless tips. I make a dip for the filets with vegan mayo, Strubs dill brine, and dill weed. I microwave the tips for a minute before frying, otherwise I find they don't cook well enough. If I'm adding them to soup I'll wait until the soup is ready to put in the fridge. They get soggy again if they're kept in warm liquid for too long. As for the frozen... stuff. I was told that the "meat" in the frozen meals was an older form of the product that had only been released in the States, I'm presuming the company that bought Gardein but can't find anything online. I'm also assuming that everyone only tries it once.
I was never a fan of fish before I went vegan, but I do love their fish sticks. I haven't tried the crab cakes. The burgers are usually on sale at least once a week at Fresh Co, so I buy them pretty often since they are usually $4 on sale. I think that's half of what Beyond Meat usually is. Gardien has done such a great job with making almost everything!
Right! How are they so good?! We'll have to keep an eye out for the burgers on sale

If I don't make my own seitan turkey I like the Garden turkey best for Thanksgiving. I also enjoy their canned soups.
Agreed! The turkey is really good for an easy thanksgiving option! We haven't seen the soups around but that's something Kat's gotta taste test!
These vegan products are a lot better than they were in the 90s and early 2000s back then everything tasted like cardboard. And when you wanted ground meat you were stuck with nut meat in a can.

I really want to try the turkey cutlet!! I am was bad at the other day but at the other day to go on a Caesar salad but I purchased the Buffalo tenders from filroast instead.
You gotta try the cutlet!! Maybe we should try it in a sandwich with buffalo sauce
Mm love their fishy stuff too. But! The sol cuisine filets are eeeeven better. I also always have the original sausage patties and the 🍊 chickn is my favourite for making a salad. The extra sauce makes a good dressing.

When I get there gardine turkey cutlets always throw the gravy packet away. The gravy has a very odd taste and I don’t like it.
I don’t think I’ve tried the Garedein gravy, but LOVE Tofurky’s gravy ❤️
Nothing wrong with that! It's nothing special, but we like it enough to eat it when we're feeling lazy

That's a good point! They can serve as solid starting points, and then you can elevate them with your own seasonings
I had a good experience with the microwave sausage pasta meal. And 💯 agree with the fish filets as McDonald’s fish filet knockoffs. Also we make the crab cakes with diy vegan remoulade sauce #chefskiss

My favorite is Italian sausage they very meaty
I hate the chicken burger but I do like the breakfast sausage and wings can't wait to try the fish and turkey
definitely disappointed in the chicken burger, but they've got so many good things to make up for it at leastt! Hope you like fish and turkey as much as we do!

The beef tips are by far the best product if you know how to cook and have a little imagination.
I’m just saying if you throw the beef tips in a pan and fry them and don’t really season them or sauce them in anyway They’re gonna suck. However if you season them first and fry them up in some good oil and then add a splash of apple juice which will caramelize with the oil they will be awesome
OK really just take the bag open it up put a little soy sauce and some pepper in it close it back up and throw it back in the freezer when you cook it it will be awesome

I don't believe I've tried gardein But most meat's in the microwave bowls are absolutely disgusting! If you were to eat them, you'd HAVE TO COOK THEM SEPARATELY.
Only had them for a short time at Sainsburys here in the U.K…. Didn’t even get to try them, and whoosh! They were gone! They were quite pricey… perhaps just not viable to have them shipped over here… sad. 😞

Beef, pork, fish and chicken aren't vegan! Beef is cow meat. Pork is pig meat. Fish and chicken are animal species.
