I've recently found "Tuno" at Dollarama. There's a Thai chili flavour and a lemon pepper flavour. They're pretty flavourless, but acceptable mixed with mayo and additional seasonings to make a tuna salad. Probably also fine for homemade sushi rolls if you mix in some sriracha or something.
I've never seen vegan tuna before- my "tuna salad" replacement usually is a chickpea salad with some fish sauce or seaweed added in
tempeh might also work well for a denser filling
Gusta always gets the texture right. Vegan shrimp & calamari would be a good taste test!
So after watching this video, I went out and picked up the Gusta brand as recommended. I’ve seen the brand on shelves before and never took a closer look at their offerings. I just made my first sandwich, and wow it’s good! I haven’t had tuna in well over 10 years. This is actually better than canned tuna. Thank you the recommendation. I’ve found a new favourite. ❤❤❤
I've had a can of the Tunah in my cupboard for a while. I have been hesitant to try it. After watching this, I'm still hesitant. 😂
I’ve actually not seen any of these tuna options in the U.S. though we have very similar options. Omni products are relatively easy to access so perhaps I’ll find that one 😊
Future Farm is probably the best I’ve tried but I’ve not been wowed by any of them. Omni, Good Catch and Gardein have some good fish fillet and crab cake offerings but I feel like tuna, sashimi and shrimp are better replaced with a homemade option

All you need to make mock tuna is chick peas. Lots of recipes on the web.

The PC tuna is better when you squeeze out the liquid I’ve made a tuna melt with it and it was pretty good.
PC brand - tried it and it was terrible ! PC always puts vegan products in weird places and always hunting for them in the store :(
