LITERALLY just made soup and sat down - saw this video and never clicked so fast in my life ahaha cheers to all the soup lovers
Haha perfect timing! What kind of soup did you make?
@@TwoMarketGirls was like a spicy asian inspired veggie soup!
Scary cool!!
Thank you for your review!!
Split pea and lentil are my favorites! Actually, I haven't tried any of the others so your video is helpful. Thanks!
Haha apparently I'm just not a split pea or lentil person... Glad you found this helpful! Which one are you gonna try out first?
Amy's Kitchen is literally the best. My pantry is full of bulk canned soups from Amy's. I've spent $100's on them because they are usually vegan/vegetarian.
Haha right! Same here!
Their new vegan mushroom bisque was amazing! Too salty though
Kat singing about soup is enough to earn a like from me! I love soup too! My favorite Amy’s soups are the French County and the Lentil Curry.
There is often soup singing coming from Kat... Have to try the lentil curry one next!
Rich Landau of Philadelphia Pennsylvania says if something seems like it needs more salt, it probably needs more acid, and it would be healthier to add a little vinegar or lemon or lime than salt.
Interesting! We'll have to learn more about that, thank you :)
I'm glad you did this review because I love Amy's soups! My favorite is the "Spanish Rice and Red Bean Soup". I also regularly eat their " Fire Roasted Southwestern Vegetable", "Golden Lentil Indian Dal" and "Quinoa Kale and Red Lentil" soups. I also love their spicy chili! I usually add sriracha and Tofutti sour cream to any soup I'm eating. (p.s. I didn't particularly like the No Chicken or split pea flavors either.)
Gonna need to try those flavours next!! Thank you, fellow soup lover :D
Fire roasted southwestern vegetable is my favorite! 🔥
I wanted SO MUCH to like the no-chicken noodle, but you're right, it's kinda nasty. I think it's the faux chicken they use. It's got a decent chicken texture, but the flavor is horrible. I really like Amy's Lentil soups a lot. Also their chili, which isn't really a soup, but it's in the same can on the same aisle. :)
Agreed! There was just something off about it that didn't sit well with my taste buds. Definitely want to try out their chilis! Maybe a second taste test coming ahaha.
The chili is excellent, must say. I put it on the meat rack in the pantry by accident before reading it was (Vegan). Used it many times in recipes, could have fooled me.
Mushroom soup. Please try and tell since I don't have 4$ per can to spend. If I can buy it in Appalachia, I bet you can find it too. Please do try it. Try it for all 490 veggies in my 'hood
I love the wholesomeness of this review so much lol, thank you very much!
Haha thank you! So glad you enjoyed them :D
It always help to add your own seasoning and extras to any canned soup
Amy’s soup tastes so much better than some of TJ / WF freshly prepared soups! Their light in sodium series are GOATs ❤
Carrot ginger soup by Amy’s is pretty damn great not gunna lie! Healthy during the winter months.
I’m eating the tomato soup based on your recipe a few weeks ago, delicious!
Perfect combo!
Lol damn. The no chicken noodle is literally my favorite one. Your reaction surprised the shit out of me.
Hi! Sodium is salt. Sodium is other word for salt. I hope this helps you out
I buy a the frozen entries fairly regularly when I go out with my sister so I have something vegan to eat. I always add more salt. I haven't tried the soups yet.
Nice! How are the frozen ones? Haven't tried them!
Just had the Low Sodium Lentil. Very tasty! I love lentils!
Added some black pepper, oregano and a drop of olive oil.
Yummy! Very good additions too!
I should’ve seen this video before I went to the store , definitely will try the alphabet one since I like brothy salty soups 🙌🏻
Stap
I love Amy's lentil soup and Amy's lentil soup. How old is this video, lady? And why would soup taste good cold? I believe its called gazpacho
My favorite are tomato bisque and golden lentil. I usually don't like any of the lentil ones but the Golden lental is like mushy and I think it's like Indian kind of style.. no offense.. to anybody who's Indian.. from India.. the country.
Have you tried the Gardein soups? Heard mixed reviews.
No I haven't been able to find them yet! But am very curious about them.
Their minestrone and rustic soup is my fav
I love Amy’s Quinoa and Kale and there chunky tomato soup.
I haven't tried their soups, but I occasionally get their no cheese pizza or a curry entree.
Ooooh haven't tried their no cheese pizza. Definitely want to try that.
I love the southwestern vegetable fire roasted 😋
Mmmm very good!
I'm a big pea soup fan! But I've had the Amy's Pea Soup before and it did not live up to the deliciousness that is a homemade pea soup at all, so you'll have to make your own before you judge it as a flavour!
Okay good to know! Gotta take these soup comparisons very seriously!
What store do you get this from!?
It was a few different places! No Frills, Sobey's, and a couple online?
I hear you girl and soup soup soup soup soap soap soap 🤣😄😅
Mushroom bisque?
Hey. Thanks for intuitively knowing I was warming up a can of Amy. But how did you know? I can taste the little girl flavors. Flavors every tiny girl with helicopter parents would just adore. Read Gone Girl, Amazing Amy??
I love Amy’s black bean chili. I’ve tried the lentil and vegetable and it was okay but Progresso’s lentil and lentil with roasted veggies are both way better
I’ve had a few of these soups. I think some taste okay after a load of salt. Most of these vegan soups don’t have enough nutritional value to make it worth it.
That's fair! Sometimes you just need the convenience of them
Are you Amy?
What about the kale and quinoa one
Haven't tried it yet! Is it good?
@@TwoMarketGirls ya try it!! I add hot sauce
That has to be like $100 in soup these are tax af here
All are good 👍 like yummy! :-)
Yea, so many good soups!
Try before me. It's 4 dollars/can
No chicken noodle soup!!!!!
Can't do it, so sad :(
Just asking? How is that disturbing yer community guidelines? I love mushrooms
Amy’s soups are tasteless, thin and hardly any vegetables. Just thin almost uneatable liquid.
