Thank you for the upload. I'm usually surprised at the sound of some "all-American girl" voices of that era such as hers, having heard her described that way several times. Today they sound more British than American.

Sounds like a mixture of Mandarin & Cantonese unless I misheard… She speaks it way better than I do with my Chinglish lol… 🤣
@@thegalleryofannamaywong You might be right, I get them mixed up as well. But when she ended with "do jeh, do jeh" I just assumed the rest was Cantonese. I just think it's so cute how she sounds, if you excuse the term, ABC. It reminds me of my childhood friends in the Richmond District.
@@thegalleryofannamaywong Well, as all I know, she always mixes Cantonese and Taishan dialect vocabularies and pronunciation when she speaking Chinese, which can be heard in some of her movies like “Tiger Bay”.
