When I saw sultan suleiyaman: the magnificent., I thought what was magnificent about that era( according to the show made)..but after watching this kosem series , i understood how happy and prosperous reign sultan suleiyaman had,. And how magnificent he was . How smart he was, his character was exactly written as we think a ruler should be...but this sultan Murad is a confused personality...kosem gave birth to so many kids but no one was having traits of a ruler

Suleiman inherited an incredibly powerful kingdom from his father Yavuz Selim II.
Murad was dealing with a very damaged empire,a very hard situation, modern historians agree that had he lived longer and if the empire was in better condition Murad would have surpassed his predessors.
Its not unfair to say he was the most powerful sultan who was simply dealing with a very hard situation.
You can say he was the best sniper who simply had a bad gun

Like in star wars ⚔️the dark side is all about chaos 🔥and power & this power of the dark side comes at a great cost & blood. Every person struggles for power & overthrow the weakest contender, it’s survival of the fittest, being a sultan is much similar, it’s a throne of blood & fire, it demand sacrifices of your dear ones in order to stay in power. And sitting on it is incredibly hard because there is always someone out there who wants to overthrow you. I feel like it’s a perfect analogy 😂 So being a sultan is actually much similar to being a Sith Lord in Star Wars 😂😂😂

Kosem should really blame herself for this. At the end of last episode, Ghulbahar confirmed to Murad that Kosem had murdered not only his best friend (Silahatar) but also his wife & true love (Farya). And by murdering Farya, Kosem left the path wide open for the murder of Murad’s 2 baby princes, leaving Murad with no heir. Then Kosem started moving towards enthroning Kasim while Murad was still alive. So this was almost inevitable. So well played Valide!!! I feel sorry for all of Sultan Ahmed’s children particularly for Osnan, Ibrahim, Geverhan & Murad.

From about the third Ottoman sultan to the 13th sultan, the order of the sultan continued to kill both brothers and sons. All of them will reach their end, then Ahmad I changed the law. If given, this law was followed most and above all by Muhammad IV, who ruled for forty years, but did not kill his younger brothers.
