  • It's finally time to pull the bed off and get the box installed. I ran into one small unexpected deadly surprise though...

Cutting flame. Turn on gas, light. Should have an orange flame with smoke. Turn down gas until smoke is gone but flame is there. Than add oxygen until you get a blue flame with one inner blue cone. You want the tank oxygen to be on 1/4 turn only, control the rest of oxygen flow from handle.

I have seen your cutting torch skills, and I am not worried about letting you have a go at PARTriSha, the "PARTS" LMTV. We'll have a good time! Pulling the bed makes you qualified for pulling an engine, right? Well, I've pulled a cab, so I guess we have equal experience. LOL!

You could have sold bed and sides for 10 times that amount.

I'm sure I could have but I needed them gone and didn't have a place to put them

I have a 24ft Morgan box on a Peterbilt chassis. It sits at 13’6”. This truck looks like it’s 18’ tall. Lol. This looks great though! If you are over 13’ I’d highly recommend adding some protection to the front corners of the box. Mine are beat to hell from all of the low tree limbs.

LOL It is definitely tall. The installer measured it right at 13'6". At some point I plan to pull the top frame rail out which should bring me down to 13'. Protection from trees is on the LONG list of things still to do. Thanks for watching!
