    Ah damn Arizona trying to see if these work up north in the winter. Its -14*C here today and my 12v has about 20* timing so not sure if its even worth trying a remote. Needs a solid 30 seconds of cranking without fuel after 30 seconds of grid heater warming lol

    I am interested in installing this in my truck but does this have the capable of locking and unlocking my doors, I already got door actuators in my doors because my truck came factory without power locks, could i just take the wires from my door actuators and connect then directly to this?

    Did you hook up the heater wiring and if so how? I have a cm900 unit.

    i can only find one constant power wire. The cs800 requires 2 constants. One for the red and one for the red/white wire. Did you connect both red and red/white to one constant wire in the ignition switch?

    Once your ready to take off do you need to put the key in the egnition or can u just drive off

    • @codeyjohnson9896
      @codeyjohnson9896  Před 5 lety +1

      Got to put the key in. If you hit the brake pedal without the key in the system shuts down to prevent theft

    Would you happen to know if this compustar system works with the 98.5-02 ram 2500s specifically the manuals?

    That remote has a delay start? I mean wait to start seconds?

  • @Shokenryu
    @Shokenryu Před 3 lety

    You ever run into problems with the alarm triggering if you use the remote lock every 20 seconds? The only way I can stop it from doing that is to manually lock all doors with the trucks button.
