Installing the over flow valve....#6 fuel plate...125 H.P. injectors.....055 delivery valves....lighter spring in the afc. Adjusting valves to .07 and .017..all this weekend or next weekend!
Very intresting..this is new for me, thank you for sharing. My Isuzu pickup with 4JB1T engine frequently vibrated a lots while cold start. I'll check the fuel line filteration since 20yrs never check one😁
Does this matter if you have a aftermarket pump? I bought my 96 12v a few months ago and not running so good mpgs suck and idle was really low. I want to replace this.
Hey man, I was concerned about that same whooping sound coming from my engine. I noticed your 12 valve makes the same noise? (I guess that's just how they are?) You can hear it best from 6:30 - 6:35, and 6:52. Thanks in advance.
Money well spent! I can go 3 times as far than the duramax I was driving. Shifting my own gears again is great. A 12v cummins in good condition at the right price is to good to pass up.
Ok how the hell do you get the overflow valve out mine screws out and hits the block before you can remove it. Do you grind the head block. Grinding the bolt won't do any good as you still have to put a new one in it.
Overflow valve..... on a trans is where the fluid can escape it'll it's over full and allows air to escape or come in depending on conditions.. basically it's a vent to allow any heat pressure to escape
@@erickfrausto9925 Um definitely not at least not in this case. In this case it simply regulates how much fuel can return to tank basically regulating fuel pressure.
No start, hard start, longer than normal to start, low fuel pressure, rough idle or just not as rock solid as before. Honestly a bunch of stuff a bad ofv can cause. Buy a tork tek one and call it a day.

The overflow valve regulates lift pump fuel pressure to the injection pump. Low fuel pressure can cause white smoke, low power and hard starting.

@@danisyx5804 if you can’t get it out because of the head in the way use a burr or a file and remove material from the head.
It looks nice, has good filtration, it improved my acceleration, and it's a good cold air intake.

By any chance does anyone know how to eliminate that check engine light mine had an egr I blocked it and the light stays on also supper annoying

It has a EGR that's blocked off and the check engine lamp stays on.

First thing I did when I got my 12v is ripped out that door buzzer. It's the blue box under the dash under the steering wheel area.
What electronics this motor have? Why the check engine lamp is on?

Anyone else notice how wobbly the harmonic balancer is lol.. sheesh buy new one get that replaced.
