    Great help. I have a different remote start and keyless entry system in my truck and I followed how you did yours and it helped so much. The only problem I had was after I did the wiring for my locks it wouldn’t let me lock and unload both doors at the same time unless I disconnected the driver side door lock wires the connect to the switch but finally got it all working. Thank you for the step by step help on how to install a remote start and keyless entry

      @@Handy-Mann Do you have a sport edition? I just got an 01 ram 5.9 sport and was wondering if you know anything about putting LED headlights in the sport? It has 2 bulbs (highs/lows) in each lamp, and from what I managed to find is people can only get the highs to work correctly with LEDs. Also,are you still making guides for your 01 ram? I would just recheck the connection at the steering column, as well as the connection at your unit. You could also check your wiring schematic to make sure you have it connected into the correct wire, just incase your vehicle is slightly different.

      @Handy-Mann  Před 6 lety +1

      suzuki rider depends on if it's stock or aftermarket. If it's aftermarket find the aftermarket system and figure out which wires are wired into your lock/unlock and connect in your new system lock/unlock wires to the old ones. If it's stock I don't believe you'll need the relay set up, but check out the extra wiring diagrams for the doors for your year at bulldogsecurities.com and see if your truck fits any of the extra diagrams they have for the door locks
      I hope that all makes sense

      I believe it will, however you may want to confirm on the manufacturer's website. With a manual I believe that a tachometer wire also needs to be connected (not 100% sure that is correct though) and you obviously couldn't leave it in 1st gear when you're parked and could only park with the e brake on when trying to remote start your truck.

      suzuki rider so I don't think my wiring video will work for your truck for the lock and unlock wiring. Go to bulldogsecurity.com and look up the wiring diagram for your truck and download the pdf for the lock and unlock wires. I believe since you have the factory key fob you already have on-board door lock relays, so follow the wiring diagrams labeled "with On-board Door Lock Relays" unfortunately there's 3 different wiring set ups and I'm not sure which one is the one you'll need. Sorry I can't be much more help then that, but I believe you already have relays wired in so there's no need to add them to your truck like I do in this video.
