The girl who said she could read it is an angel and a gem, and your teacher was awful. I had a similar situation with a teach in elementary school, but luckily I had a friend in the class who would help me with my writing so I could stay under the radar.

I have dyspraxia and there is this one group of boys who constantly yell things in front of the class every time I do something wrong e.g. get lost, take a long time to tie my laces, reading and writing slowly. Sometimes people laugh at me and it hurts because they don't know what it is like.

Yes we are sensitive people. Because of misunderstandings of others we often get judged and pressured to conform in things that even when we try we just find difficult or take longer to do!
I am 27yrold dyspraxic diagnosed at 20 from UK. ive always found day-day life a lot more difficult than the 'average' my whole life🤔
It got a lot more difficult to keep up/adapt at college and university!

im 22 and I cant tie my shoe laces properly, i cant drive, I can ride a bike but with very little confidence and often loose my balance, I cant swim, I often trip on nothing and bump into things, the amount of times of smacked my hand into things cuz of how my arms flail about when I walk quickly or dramatically.
there's a lot of shit I cant do or find extremely difficult not just due to dyspraxia but cuz of dyslexia and adhd as well, during my schooling years I had no help my teachers just marked me as a naughty child and would often take the piss out of me for not knowing simple things and ridicule me infront of the entire class which would make me angry causing me to lash out at teachers or pupils I wasn't diagnosed with any of these things until I was 21 and to get a diagnoses I had to ask my university cuz I was really struggling and unable to mask my symptoms as me just being angry or lazy.
throughout school all my male counterparts where diagnosed at an early age, for some reason women don't get diagnosed until later in life, too late for us to get schooling help.

I relate so much. I learned to drive but then I forgot because I didn't practice much after I finally passed the test because I didn't have a car. It was one thing other people teaching me in their cars, it's quite another to ask to borrow a car once u have your license. So now I gotta relearn. At some point in middle school I had trouble walking in a straight line and got sent to physical therapy where they gave me a bunch of exercises that are a lot like workouts, focused on balancing and lifting some weights to improve coordination. I've improved in that sense as well as things with my hands. It gets better the older I get but I still find certain things ridiculously difficult. And it varies I'll go weeks or even months where I'm like damn I'm so coordinated now yay and then I'll have a day where I knock things over all day ugggh.

I also have no balance or hand eye coordination so I use to fall over all the time and I could not write for years I'm still not great at balance or coordination but hard work can make it a little easier to manage

    motor , oral, verbal
interesting.. feel like this video is missing something.. all of the above i am not particularly bad at hence why it took 20years for anybody to even detect that I had Dyspraxia (in fact if i hadnt have detected something in myself it ptobably still wojld be going unoticed)
which brings me to why i dislike this video
    a) i find it misrepresentative of all the types of dyspraxia
    b) its oversimplified
    c) its only defined in terms of negative associations when in fact there also gifts of being 'dyspraxic'
    d) its misleading
because therr are those of us who dont really struggle with the above but struggle a lot more with other things or maybe struggle with these things ALONG with a lot of other things.
But I do know for me at least , dyspraxia is invisible.
Lastly i dont define it as a disorder because that wòuld suggest that every body else is in 'order' if that is even a thing.
We need to stop creating content that further stigmatises differently abled humans.
Everybody watching this video will now come away thinking they know what dyspraxia is and then telling me that they know what im going through when they really dont.
It affects me in so many subtle ways you would never know! And dyspraxia affects every single 'dyspraxic' diffetently also.
So Please Dont Assume Next Time Somebody Tells You They Are Dyspraxic.
