Thank you for making this!! I thought I tried everything until I watched this video, it worked! A year and a half later and this video is still heaven sent.
Great job. Other videos involved tearing the entire machine apart. Your quick fix of simply putting a little pressure on the solution canister fixed my machine.
Thank you. I was ready to pull apart. My wife didn't want to try and fix until she was done using the machine with a spray bottle. She was done and I saw your video. Popped it in place. MAGIC. YOU the man! THANK YOU!
This solution worked perfectly! Was having same issues with both the soap dispenser and water, tried this and also primed the pump by holding the water dispenser handle for 30 seconds. Huge thank you!!!
Its not allowing it to push the valve button on the tank. Its there to keep water/solution from leaking out of tank before you install it in the machine. That tiny bit of the gasket makes a difference wether its going to open that valve or not. Now I'm going to check mine and see if thats the problem.. Mines not spraying. Thanks for making this video. It's usually the simple stupid things we overlook! 🤣 Thats why I came here! 👍👍👍
Thank you for helping me fix mine. I was having the cleaning solution pouring out the bottom of the machine and took it apart cleaned it and was looking at the hose for the water. Couldn't figure it out and I watched your video and went and refilled the solution container put it in pushed it down tight and walahhh it didn't leak!
yep! this is it!! I remember finding this little round red rubber thingie on the floor but I don't know what I did with it. I think I found a replacement for 2.99. Can't wait to see if it works, thank you so much!! Update: it worked!!
First video I ran across and it worked! my model looks different but has the same red suction thingy under the water reservoir. Thanks so much for posting!
OMG, that worked!!!!! I wasted 3 hrs watching videos where ppl took a million screws off their Bissel; it was too much! Your video made me take both water tanks off, then push them down into place and it frick'n worked! THANK YOU!!!!!!!!
Thank You thank you thank you! I have had problems with various models for years both mine and my neighbor's. I just fixed my bissell easy clean that I got for 15 dollars at value village with the help of your video. And I got is so cheap I suspect because the owner obviously didn't know this little trick. Plus at VV one never gets an owner's manual with these things.
Thank you so much I just bought the pet one and couldn’t get the water to work. Did your trick and it worked. You saved me a ton on time the second video I found and you had the answer!
Thank you! This is the only video that made since as to why the water would not continue to spray from my Bissell and why the cleaner reservoir emptied quickly. I think both seals were "leaking". I would have not found this problem on my own, but this 68 y/o F is back to cleaning the carpet in my motor home. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!
thank you..I have been racking my brain and searching the web trying to figure this out. you saved me a few hundred dollars cause I was ready to give up and buy another machine ... awesome!!
Same!! I took that damn thing all the way apart which it needed to be cleaned anyways but still had issues. I should have know better too because I am a mechanic but I always go for the deep thought first.. thank you!!
Thanks so much! Nice easy fix, and here this Marine was just going to start ripping this thing apart head-to-toe lol. Saved me allot of money from buying a new one also.
After 2 hrs and way too many CZcams rabbit holes, your video was my Lord and Savior. Sometimes the simplest solution is the right one!!!! Thank you so much. Just saved me hundred$
I fix things for a living and I've been having the "no soap" issue with my Bissell. I've got an older unit that has a manually actuated mixing valve. I was actually screwdriver in hand about to tear into that valve and find out why no soap or even water would come through it when you turned to one of the three soap injection modes. In rinse only it worked fine. I didn't search for a solution here on you tube but you tube suggested this video out of the blue while I was actually wasting time trying to avoid tearing into that valve by watching public freakout vids. Explain that one. As soon as I saw the red gasket issue it was like the light of god shining the answer. I'm not all that religious but you know what I mean. Thanks for fixing my issue in the knick of time.
Boom! My Bissell cleaner is a different model and I tried a lot of other things, but after pushing down harder on the fluid/water container my problem was solved! Thanks!
THANK YOU thank you thank you! I have a different model of Bissell and apparently the red rubber part was pushed on too far. I adjusted it slightly and it works like new again!! My husband did a full maintenance overhaul inside and out before I tried this and nothing else improved the water flow even a little. Thanks!
Thank you. Of course the manufacturer is not going to comment on this particular hack. They want the consumer to go buy another one. But it took a determined person like yourself to troubleshoot the problem.
I just replaced the belts and it still wasn't spraying. So I made sure the the gasket was making a good seal like you said. Now it works like a champ! I placed an order for a new pump on Amazon a half hour ago,and I just cancelled the order. P.S I love you man.😝
I have a similar model the proheat 2xL pet that I purchased less than 6 months ago. Only got 1 good use out of it before I had this problem. I completely took mine apart, everything. I even tested all the pumps and electrical components and I was about to put it on the curb until I finally saw your video 😧😵😂 Thank you for the upload!!
@@mikejohn0088 Thank you. I had meant solution as in solving the problem. I drove a screw in and made it work. I haven't used it in a while. Thanks anyways!
Sweet mother of Jesus! Two hours watching Bissell videos. I was about to lose my shite and watched your fix. SO easy. You get my 'Didn't Lose His Shite and Give Up' award! Fracking genius!
Bro I haven't even tried it yet but I know it's going to work haha. Thank you soooooo much. I've been at this solid for days. All out in the living room floor ... wifey yelling haha. 528
Hey I love your video we used have the same machine one your showing on your video but ours is the green version but I did seen this red one at Meijer and best buy few years ago
I mean, when you totally mess up and buy one of these boat anchors, should you really be having to strip it down and work on it? Does this joke of a company think little old ladies can take it apart? And work on it? Criminal.
Gotta give this a shot hopefully this will help with the water feel like the solution and water aren’t coming out, when I get done formula tank is empty but water tank is damn near full and no dirty water ?
My bissell Proheat2x cleanshot professional shampooer will not spray out water underneath and brush will not turn and the knob on top of the water tank will not spin. Help
My gasket went up in bladder (water tank) anyone know how to squeeze that back through? Probably easy fix & I'm making it hard but can't find any info? Thanks
LBCAndrew I tried everything. I was fed up with it. It’s was throwing tons of water on my carpets. Did not spray still. I just threw it out. Wish I smashed it
I jiust bought this model.. because my other Pet Pro max carpet cleaner the spray button is stuck n keeps spraying liquid out.. i wish i knew how to FiX that problem.. cus this machine seems more-complicated.. Any Suggestion.?
Seriously...I tried a few things to try and fix the cleaner, then watched a few of the other videos. yours was simple and genius. THANK YOU!
Thank you for making this!! I thought I tried everything until I watched this video, it worked! A year and a half later and this video is still heaven sent.

hahaha I did that yesterday. Until today.
Thank you so much for this simple insight. I had almost given up on ours. So glad I saw your video and didn’t throw it out!!
This solution worked perfectly! Was having same issues with both the soap dispenser and water, tried this and also primed the pump by holding the water dispenser handle for 30 seconds. Huge thank you!!!
Awesome I watched 3 other videos. Was about to go buy a new one and thought I’d watch one more. So glad I did. Genius fix!!!! Thanks
This was such an easy fix to a very frustrating problem. Thank you! Thank you! Thank you!

I too am from buffalo, I have had problems with mine .. thank you for posting this, because it was a life saver!!!!
First video I ran across and it worked! my model looks different but has the same red suction thingy under the water reservoir. Thanks so much for posting!
my red gasket came off, and it took days to find the right video to fix the issue. Thanks.
Thank you! So glad I found your video. You're my hero of the day. Gaskets all seal now.

Jo anne that's great! Glad it helped.
Thank you so much for making this video. This fixed my problem completely.
Hi from Syracuse! Thanks for the video.
Thank you so much. Such a simple solution and it worked. I was ready to tear into the guts of the machine looking for a clogged line
Same!! I took that damn thing all the way apart which it needed to be cleaned anyways but still had issues. I should have know better too because I am a mechanic but I always go for the deep thought first.. thank you!!
Thanks so much!

Oh that was Divine intervention for sure!!
Thank you! That was our exact problem!!
Clear explanation my machine worked after that treat 🥳🥳🥳
Boom! My Bissell cleaner is a different model and I tried a lot of other things, but after pushing down harder on the fluid/water container my problem was solved! Thanks!
After an hour of taking off nozzles and cleaning parts...no change. Tried this and viola we are back in business. Thanks
THANK YOU thank you thank you! I have a different model of Bissell and apparently the red rubber part was pushed on too far. I adjusted it slightly and it works like new again!! Yes. This was my problem as well. Check the gaskets on both the water and solution tank.
Thanks! I spent 3 hours last night to figure this stupid thing out. Wish I would of watch your video before.
Great video man, I know it's old. But that's the point. It will help us out here forever..thank you..❤👍👍
Thank you for this video. It solved the problem!

Christopher Zegarac I have the same but mine still isn’t working
now fixed. thanks from Bonnie Scotland
Holy shit thank you. You just saved an old lady from getting reported on Facebook.
Thank you! I hope this will solve my issue.
I had figured out the problem, but not the solution. Thank you for the video!
You have to put solution in the tank, put the red rubber on the stud and shove it hard; the same concept works on this Bissell too.
@@mikejohn0088 Thank you. I had meant solution as in solving the problem. I drove a screw in and made it work. I haven't used it in a while. Thanks anyways!
I know pal---I was just giving some humor to your information which did, by the way, work for me too. Thanks
😄 Ok. Got it!
Sweet mother of Jesus! Two hours watching Bissell videos. I was about to lose my shite and watched your fix. SO easy. You get my 'Didn't Lose His Shite and Give Up' award! Fracking genius!

I can't get mine to seat either. Gasket is good too. Still can't get it to.
Thank you!
Literally cleaning exact same carpet🤣
Tool is working fine, but on floor not even a drop. Tried with needle and brush on holes but no go. Any ideas? I got Bissell pro heat advanced
thank you!!!!
I mean, when you totally mess up and buy one of these boat anchors, should you really be having to strip it down and work on it? Does this joke of a company think little old ladies can take it apart? And work on it? Criminal.
Thank you
THANKS
How do you prime the pump
Mines started to trip my shop out so I’ll look to this. Maybe it’s allowing water into the electrics
Gotta give this a shot hopefully this will help with the water feel like the solution and water aren’t coming out, when I get done formula tank is empty but water tank is damn near full and no dirty water ?
Besides like you said some of the dust bunnies in the top
My bissell Proheat2x cleanshot professional shampooer will not spray out water underneath and brush will not turn and the knob on top of the water tank will not spin. Help
I see this is a old post but was wondering if you knew/know the model number?
Dude, you are a fucking genius
Sandi Heller well thanks.
I haven't hear the word "rents" for parents for years.
My gasket went up in bladder (water tank) anyone know how to squeeze that back through? Probably easy fix & I'm making it hard but can't find any info? Thanks
Same problem. Where do you get the gasket?
I ordered mine off of Amazon
I have been trying for a month to find help for just this problem. How is this not part of their manual and trouble shooting? Thanks so much!!
omg yess thanks
Alyx M. Welcome!

Did not work for me
Didnt work for me
Españolllll 😂😂 quiero arreglar mi maquina y ahorrarme una feria💸💸
These are trash. I gave up on thing thing. I threw mine out and got the new revolution
It must suck to realize that your thrown out carpet cleaner could have been repaired with such a simple fix huh?
LBCAndrew I tried everything. I was fed up with it. It’s was throwing tons of water on my carpets. Did not spray still. I just threw it out. Wish I smashed it
LBCAndrew cant get mine going with this clip.
How's the Revolution working for you now?
I jiust bought this model.. because my other Pet Pro max carpet cleaner the spray button is stuck n keeps spraying liquid out.. i wish i knew how to FiX that problem.. cus this machine seems more-complicated..
Any Suggestion.?
