Yep, thanks a bunch. Just fixed mine. Although it wasn’t a broken belt, I had sucked up so much dog hair that it had wrapped around the toothed pulley and stopped the belt from connecting. Thanks.

Mine works fine but there is a lot of crud that worked it's way under the grey selection know.The knob is the same one in your video. How do I remove it from the clear plastic base?

Thanks! I found that the grooved motor head fell off the spinner. I think its time for a new machine.
I just got this model today and the brush isn’t spinning or water spraying so do I still need to follow these steps if it was never used …?
Sounds like the same issue here. But if you got this brand new today, I would say check if you can return or if it is still under warranty. Mine is a bit older so I was okay with doing this. May just be faulty if it is brand new. If used or purchased second hand, I would check with who you got it from first. Otherwise, this may be an option.

I have a newer model not sure the brush roll shares the belt with the sprayer. But the spray function stopped working... after only 1 yr- another crappy bissell product

So my belt isn't broke and the brushes spin but the water only sprays at the corners and not in the middle. Do you have any suggestions?
Unfortunately I am not sure why that may be happening. If I had to guess, I would assume that there may be a blockage. Either debris or if you have water with a high mineral content there may have been build up over time.

Just fixed mine : sprays were blocked. Remove and clear 'crud' and replace. All OK . . .

My Walmart had them in stock. The 2-pack was right under $8.00. I can't figure out how to attach the picture.
Mines not spraying and we have tried EVERYTHING.
Why not clean it while you have it apart. Idk just a thought
The brush works fine on ours but will not pump the cleaning solution. Just to say it should work because it is the same motor doesn’t help. The title suggests that a fix is included in the video but there is not.

You might want to clean the bottom of that first man. It can clog the motor. I clean mine after each time I use it

too tight is it two belts or one?
It should be two belts that come with the package for the two belts in the machine. At the 6:00 minute mark (and again during the 10:20 minute mark) you can see where the belt with the teeth goes, while the smooth one would go around the red wheel further inside the machine as seen around the 9:00 minute mark(and again during the 12:30 minute mark). The smoother one will have a bit of tension when reattaching it.

Used my brand new one and it broke after 3 uses. In the dumpster it went. Bissell is a crap machine.
