Busy busy man you are .......glad true winters holding off so you can get your penguins in a row lol....dust tell me about I think these cars produce the stuff themselves. ...nice fix on them brackets pretty smart you are I don't like the headrests too make it look too much like a sedan I think they just pop off if you tug Em quick .cars looking really nice can't wait to see it Rollin take care guys stay warm
Errr um Rick where were you when I was a kid and had to help do this with an axe and then carry it all into the basement, every year;-) I have many memories of my brother and I splitting wood after school with dad. I think I learned to do this when I was about 8 or 10. One of these things would have made life much easier! ;-)
Woodeso's Guitar Mods ya i hear ya,split alot of wood with an axe when i was younger, never heard tell of these back then,i sure am glad they r available now,,i would be all winter with an axe now, lol, thankx for watching,tc
Looking great. I can't see why you don't like the color of that back seat :-) So I take it you're not going to keep the headrests... Anyway as always love watching the vids keep 'em coming.
cool ty Rick they had head rests if u look at the back of the seat where head rest is feel down u should feel a button that is hidden push in and head rest should pop out it's about 1 inch down from the top of the seat
Still working on 46 olds every day 10 hours a day. Dash is all done and all gages working, waiting for trunk to be done as I am doing entire trunk inside with 1/8 in Polished diamond plate. Should be ready for engine start up in 1 week and will make video of the engine cold start. Your car is coming along nice and looking great. What your doing now is what I am doing mounting seats ect. Take care my friend Richard
People always call those head rests, and when I was a kid it always confused me as to why someone would be resting their head while driving. Actually they are adjustable to fit the back of the individual's head to prevent whiplash in an accident.
She's really coming together Rick. That rack is a great idea, it'll help the wood air dry a bit too. Gods is that back seat cover ugly. I'm sure I had an aunt who has a skirt/suit like that.
Did you know that they are not for resting your head , they are in case you are rear ended so your head doesn't slam back , any more dust on your Nova and you can call it chip......lol
TheFrameoff probably safer to have them but they gotta go,i just find them ugly, lol, its sherrys fault the nova is dusty sanding all that wood, lol, thankx for watching,tc
I'm way to late to comment on head rests top of seats--- now a days you can get cool looking seats that fit all with safety in mind. never trust the guy behind you or the one coming across to only tap you on a show and shine drive. Head rests do have a purpose. not there to relax and sit for a nap and look bad. With that in mind how much do you need to make an up grade?
I like the seat runner mounts...Gauges look cool too.
awesome wood horde as always! Great fabrication for the seat mounts. Thanks for the video!
vw64manyrd thankx, and thankx for watching,tc
I used to split all my firewood by hand...those were the days. Lots of neat stuff on your Nova. She sure is pretty.
The Shade Tree Fix-it Man thankx george,i remember splitting with the ole axe, broke a few handles, lol,i sure do like the wood splitter,im very happy how the nova is coming along, can hardly wait to have her all shined up,tc

Those bucket seats beat a bench seat by a long shot! Nice mood on the tracks. The gauges look good there. I've found them easy to read there.

I am going to be tuned in to see what u going to do about these seats bracket.as I have a similar issue ..one step at a time..CJ
Hi Rick, all is looking like something got done!!
Most of those cars came with a bench seat. The bucket seats look much better.
Rick, you'll see the release for the headrest bar once the rear covering is opened up.
that a lot of wood. looks good rick!
***** thankx larry,tc

Not sure how your winter has been going but if its like here you must not be using much of your wood pile, been beautiful here.
