Bad is a poor word. We are broken people in a broken world. Due to free will we were hoodwinked by a fallen angel. We lost our innocence and God removed our immortality so we can die and be reconstituted. Jesus allowed people under the influence of Satan to execute Him in our place. Yes, Christ took our place. After 3 days and 3 nights in the belly of the earth, God resurrected Jesus.
We won because of what Jesus the Messiah did. We may die once. That's it. We don't have to be separated from God anymore. It's preposterous but true.

At 0:42 Dr Wellum says "to be bad is to stand in opposition to him"
I'd like to ask him the following: In 1 Samuel 15:3-4 god commands the Israelites to kill babies. If he was one of the Israelite soldiers that received this order, would he obey or "stand in opposition" to god? This is a simple yes or no answer. I'm not asking for him to justify his answer.

First of all it's God not god, and the answer you are looking for is you never stand in opposition to God. Never.

there is a bible verse that says we should obey the government because governments are established by god. governments are ran by the most ruthless and corrupt people on earth, so what does that tell you about god?

No no no no no !! The soul is neutral - neither good nor bad. It is the GOOD AND EVIL CHOICES that the soul mostly makes which determine what the soul BECOMES or IS CONSIDERED: 1 John 3:7: "He who does righteousness is righteous." Likewise, he who does wickedness is wicked. Proof of this is that, if a worker of wickedness confesses / repents / converts and so then is doing righteousness, then he will be considered righteous; and vice versa, if a worker of righteousness backslides and so then is doing wickedness, then he will be considered wicked. Or in other words, if the soul itself were either good or bad, then this could not be changed, regardless of its works. So the soul must be neutral !!

God made a bad situation. All people are bad, so avoid them as much as possible.

God doesn't made a bad situation. He made a good situation. All people are good. Blue is associated with the sky, and therefore heaven, while red is associated with fire, heat, and hell. This is lead to the Good vs Evil with association colors. So, are you good or evil?

There is no original sin! We are not innately bad, but the opposite, we are innately good; but we have an ego that causes us to see ourselves separate, lacking and at odds with life and others; at odds with Love, so we behave badly. But we are not bad! We are mistaken, we misunderstand life.
Everyone has an ego, and it is not of Love. The ego is also not evil, although it is behind all acts we would consider evil.
The ego is not a thing or an entity, it's just programming to take care of number one. This programming causes us to be self-servicing, self-centered, fearful, distrusting, defensive and aggressive.
The ego is a sense of self, not something real or true. A sense of self is nothing tangible, nothing that can't be fairly easily overlooked, if its lack of realness is pointed out.
The ego is programming that causes us to see life, ourselves and others through a particular lense; one tainted by fear, judgment, limitation, smallness and a sense of lack.
The egoic programming creates a sense of being under attack or threatened by others and by life. The ego is in fear much of the time, and therefore divorced from Love.
This fear is an illusion, an imagination of something fearful in the future; not based on an actual threat in the here and now.
When we're identified with this very primitive part of ourselves, we believe in the ego's fears and try to protect ourselves any way we can; usually by trying to attain more wealth, comfort, power, security, control, success, popularity and admiration; all things that make the ego safer, at least temporarily.

So according to you - we're not going to heaven? You see - from your standpoint - Jesus is usless... because we will only choose "sin" no matter how hard Jesus tries to save us. And since no one is good - why does God try to save us? And since no one is good - everything that God taught us through Jesus is USELESS. In fact - since no one is good - the Bible is USELESS. This is why people don't want to believe in God - because you Christians hold on to insane beliefs. And this is what killed Jesus... insane beliefs.

Can't take this video seriously. Christianity condones violence and says loving another person who's the same gender as you is "bad". Not exactly the best judge of what's "good" or "bad".

This shit sounds like a story from Lord of The Rings. So basically Jesus failed. If Adam sin separated us from that which you call "god" and JC brings us back to "god" then man is more powerful than "god" because Adam's free choice is more powerful than Jesus's sacrifice. Got it. Moving on lol
