    He's powerful but not Omnipotent. He isn't omnipresent or omniscient either. He cannot create life and he cannot read your mind. He's a created being, just like you and I except he was created at a higher level. Man is a little lower than the angels.

    Premlllenialism is what reads in scripture. Christ 2nd Coming happens first and then comes the Millennium except this world is totally destroyed , the wicked are all dead with Satan trapped alone on an empty, broken planet and the redeemed spend a thousand years with Christ as judges. After the tbousand years, Christ comes down in the New Jerusalem with the Redeemed and another resurrection, the second resurrection takes place. This leads to the judgment of the wocked and their eventual annihilation. Satan and his angels will die with their followers in the Lake of Fire. When the fire has done its job, all evil will cease to exist and God will recreate this world anew, like John states.

    It's just a story and a myth. We know that darwinian evolution is true and a fact. Evolution has always been the biggest threat to Genesis. With evolution there is no original sin. EVOLUTION has caused people to reinterpret the scripture. There is no adam and eve with evolution. At best with the science we have today we could say that God created the universe and set it in motion. So this is allegory, it is a fact that God did not create humans like we read in the story.

    Jesus Was Born Incarnate Jesus was born incarnate to a young Jewish virgin, lived a sin free life, was illegally persecuted and then crucified on a cross on Calvary. He arose three days later defeating death and ascended into Heaven where He sits at the right hand of God.. Jesus met with 515 people after His resurrection in a dozen different occasions over a period of about 40 days before He ascended into Heaven. Jesus knew He was entering the world to be the final and ultimate sacrifice for the sin of mankind. His body had been divinely prepared by God specifically for that purpose. Jesus was going to die for the sins of the world, and He knew it. Moreover, He was doing it willingly and joyfully. Jesus came to earth to reveal God to mankind and teach truth. He came to fulfill the Law and offer His kingdom to mankind. He came to show us how to live. He came to reveal God’s love. He came to bring peace. He came to heal the sick. He came to minister to the needy. He was raised in a family who didn't believe in His divinity. He had six half-brothers and two or three half-sisters who didn't believe in His divinity until after His resurrection. What gets me is demons knew His divinity but many men and women of His time didn't. I presume Mary and Joseph knew His divinity. But in Luke 2:49-50 [NKJV] “He said to them, [His earthly parents] “Why did you seek Me? Did you not know that I must be about My Father’s business?” This makes me wonder, did they not understand Jesus' divinity? "But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33 NKJV) Luke 3:23 states that Jesus was "about 30 years of age" at the start of his ministry. Jesus preformed 14-15 miracles (they were called signs) in the three years or so of His ministry on earth. Many miracles were preformed by Jesus Christ but not specifically identified and recorded in God's word. Jesus' miracles were followed by Jesus forgiving the individuals of their sins and commanding they sin no more. Many of Jesus' miracles were not identified. No other religious leader forgave mankind of their sins. 29 Then Jesus told him, “Because you have seen me, you have believed; blessed are those who have not seen and yet have believed.” The Purpose of John’s Gospel “30 Jesus performed many other signs in the presence of his disciples, which are not recorded in this book. 31 But these are written that you may believe that Jesus is the Messiah, the Son of God, and that by believing you may have life in his name.” (John 20:29-31 KJV) Our sins separate us from God, and there’s nothing we can do to make things right. So, we need someone to save us from our sins and make us acceptable to God. That someone is Jesus Christ. “Neither is there salvation in any other: for among men there is given no other Name under heaven, whereby we must be saved.” (Acts 4:12 GNV) That’s why God sent Jesus to earth. Jesus’ death on the cross paid for every wrong we’ve ever committed or will commit in the future. Jesus made it possible for us to have a relationship with God the Father. We are sinner from birth and need help, Jesus Christ is that help, our only hope. Therefore by the deeds of the law (Ten Commandments) no flesh will be justified in His sight, for by the law our sins are recognized not saved. We must confess (repent) of our sins and iniquities before Jesus Christ, at the foot of the cross daily. Jesus said in Matthew 28:19, to His disciples that: “All authority has been given to Me in heaven and on earth.” I will not stand before The Great White Throne of God, my sins have been cleansed by Jesus Christ's crucifixion on the cross. And I am clothed in the righteousness of Christ of all my sins and iniquities before-today, today and forever. I Love Jesus Christ and despite of the fact that I'm human and I fail Him daily, I pick up my cross daily and follow Him. I believe that Jesus is the Son of God and that He was crucified on the cross where He died for my sins and inequities and that He rose again on the 3rd day to give me a way through salvation and sanctification, known and unknown. He loves me dearly and has forgiven me of my sins and inequities. His Word says that if I deny Him before men, He will deny me before His Father. Following, I believe are the greatest verses in God's Word. "But seek first the Kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you." (Matthew 6:33 NKJV) “For God so loved the world that He gave His only begotten Son, that whosoever believes in Him should not perish but have everlasting life.” (John 3:16 NKJV) I am a Christ-follower and live in the Kingdom of God on earth in Jesus Christ, my Lord, Savior and Leader. I have faith and trust in the grace and mercy of God for eternal life for my soul in Heaven when I pass from this life into paradise. I proclaim this openly to the world, that I am sinner, that I am sorry for my sins and iniquities and repent of my sins and iniquities and receive Jesus Christ by faith into my heart, mind and soul as my Lord, Savior and Leader. I openly confess Him as Lord from this moment on, I want to follow Him, I pledge to obey Him daily, and read His word. I will include those in my prayers who are lost and have chosen to deny God, Jesus Christ, and the Holy Spirit. Our bodies are the temple of the Holy Spirit. Jesus Christ declared: “I am the way, the truth, and the life. No one comes to the Father except through Me.” (John 14:6 NKJV) I am in the “Lamb's Book of Life” and will not face “The Great White Throne of God” which leads to Hell. Jesus said: “Come unto me, all ye that labour and are heavy laden, and I will give you rest. Take my yoke upon you, and lean on Me; for I am meek and lowly in heart: and ye shall find rest unto your souls.” (Matthew 11:28-29 KJV) The grace and glory be to God. God bless

    And yet the meridian saints needed no "professor" nor any cleverly worked-out analogy. And interestingly, neither did Jesus choose any particularly well-educated set of disciples to convey His message, His gospel. Aside from describing "He and His father as being one in mind and purpose," there is simply no collective set of verses passing to the mind some Gnostic-like explanation for who the Father is, who the Son is, and who the Holy Spirit is. If you have to go to these lengths to explain what is otherwise quite straightforward in the scriptures, then it is likely you don't really have a "hold" on the doctrine yourself. The Father sent the Son to do His, the Father's will, and the Spirit testifies of Christ, being present whenever the Father condescends. Three beings of divine magnitude directing the affairs of salvation upon the earth. It's that simple.

    • @David-_-_-
      @David-_-_- Před dnem

      Agreed. The stories are told in a way that's they hold deep symbolic truths that are usually pointing to key aspects of the faith. Muh like Jesus parables. Example: in Gen 6 Noah is instructed to build an Ark with Gopher wood and Pitch. Does that matter ? Pitch is essentially Tar and was used by ancient ship builders to water proof boats. It has a lot of symbology here as it's the substance that "covers" and seals the boat and protects the inhabitants from the judgement waters of the flood. But it gets more interesting when you look at the the original Hebrew word translated into english as Pitch which is "Kopher". That word has multiple meanings in Hebrew. It also means - Atonement/payment for sin/restitution/bribe. So when God instructs Noah to cover the boat in pitch / Kopher in the Hebrew it's also saying ..... Perform acts of atonement to protect and pardon you and your family from my judgement against sin. The same purpose the animal sacrifices served in the tabernacle and the Eucharist serves today. In Exodus and Leviticus the name of the mercy seat in the tabernacle Moses builds is the Kopher'et. The animals sacrifices are called - Kopher or Kapher. Same word as Noah is instructed to cover his boat with. The connections in the original language between Noahs Ark and the function and purpose of the tabernacle/church are very obvious and clear but often obscured to modern English readers. So the question I have after reading Genesis 6 isn't was Noah a real person and did the flood really happen. Its did Noah actually build a boat for a physical flood ..... or was he actually the first priest who built a tabernacle which is being symbolized poetically in this story in the same manner as Matt 7:25 to protect his family against a "spiritual" flood.

  • @David-_-_-
    @David-_-_- Před dnem

    Reading genesis without a LOT of study can leave you with a very weird view of what's trying to be communicated. Even just spending time doing a Hebrew word search within these stories will open up layers of meaning and symbology that completely change the understanding. Example: in Gen 6 Noah is instructed to build an Ark with Gopher wood and Pitch. Does that matter ? Most read over this without a second thought. Pitch is basically Tar and was used by ancient ship builders to water proof boats. It has a lot of symbology here as it's the substance that "covers" the boat and protects the inhabitants from the judgement waters of the flood. But it gets more interesting when you look at the the Hebrew word translated as Pitch which is "Kopher". That word has multiple meanings in Hebrew. It also means - Atonement/payment for sin/restitution/bribe. So when God instructs Noah to cover the boat in pitch in the Hebrew it's also saying ..... The connections in the original language between Noahs Ark and the function and purpose of the tabernacle/church are very obvious and clear but often obscured to modern English readers. So the question I have after reading Genesis 6 isn't was Noah a real person and did he really exist. Its did Noah actually build a boat .... or was he actually the first priest who built a tabernacle which is being symbolized poetically in this story in the same manner as Matt 7:25

    A note brought to my attention: John 1:1 KJV - In the beginning was the Word, and the Word was with God, and the Word was God. It is the commission of equivocation to change the definition of "God" multiple times throughout this scripture: "With God" [The Father]... "Was God" [The Son.] God is not a "nature" (divinity) shared by three persons. For humans share a nature but exist as distinct persons. This devolves into tritheism. God is simply one. Happy to respond to any questions.

    The Nephilim were remnants of ancient pagan Hebrew myths that shouldn't have been included in the Bible.

    As lovers of Christ should we not be investing in the kingdom of heaven and not stock markets ? Just something I felt to share 👑

    Thoroughly disgusted with the "leadership" of the "sbc". This should have not been a NARROW VOTE. Gods word is final and is of truth. A woman is to be silent in the church but has a great role in the family and also setting examples of Godly living and teaching young ladies. This action validates sbc's inability to discern their false belief of Water Baptism as well as other teachings that fall under the Mosaic Law. They still have problems rightly dividing the Word of God! I pray for them as I believe many are Brothers and Sisters in Christ.....
