Just imagine, during the baking, the Freelancer standing on the tip of their toes (which, lets be honest, would have amused Gavin to no end) and on this one being able to JUST look over his shoulder. ayeee i feel you! i am also very sick rn and this audio really helped me get through it 💪🏻 that and my personal little headcanon that D(a)emons can't catch human illnesses due to biological incompatibility. so i've been imagining Gavin taking care of sick Freelancer by basically just cuddling in bed with them all day and that's when i realised how convenient a D(a)emon partner would be when you're sick bc they can basically just snap their fingers and make anything you need appear out of thin air. plus, idk how far healing magic goes but easing pain is probably on the table as well. imagine just getting to chill in bed with your boyfriend until you feel better 😩 ugh, a dream

Gavin knew from that first night? I wonder what it was about Freelancer. I don’t think it was just because they were good in bed? And it sounds like he’s talking about hindsight made him realize, but he was pretty smitten already if that video where Freelancer had to go meet Lasko after G&FL talk in bed is the one this is referring to. And they are the embodiment of physical touch as a love language.
I think it was the way they always treated him like a person. From the first time they met him they never made assumptions; all they knew was that he had a magical signature and that maybe he could help them. They didn't let him throw them off with his overtly sexual nature and they persisted in trying to know who he was underneath that and no one had ever done that with him before. Other magical people are usually judgemental of him or approach him only for sex, but the freelancer asks him for help. Then once theyre meeting regularly they ask him about where he came from, why he doesn't like to go home, his own goals and desires. He's always been a full person to them and I think thats why he fell in love with them 😊
