I want to agree but velvet is probably one of the worst fabrics to get stains of any kind out off. So for obvious reasons Velvet would be a bad choice for these two. Though I suppose Gavin could clean it with magic 🤔 these are the kinds of things I over think at 1am 😂 but yes I want to believe it’s like magenta, like the colour Effie Trinket wore to the reaping in the first Hunger games (oddly specific reference I know)

i absolutely LIVE for all the moments where Freelancer's kindness and genuine feelings for Gavin break through his suave façade and leave him absolutely gobsmacked for a second. and when he says something sweet and Freelancer's response is to kiss him out of the blue and it catches him off guard. i also love that, in return, Gavin has always, even during their very first encounter, paid attention and respect to Freelancer (and eventually his other friends too!) and their feelings enough to immediately shift his tone from flirty-playful to soft and sincere when necessary. these two are so fucking perfect for each other it's BEAUTIFUL

*Gavin explains that he doesn’t put much stock into human holidays. It’s not that he has anything against them, just that he doesn’t care either way. He then asks Freelancer what their opinion on the holiday is.*

Don’t mistake my lack of prior interest in the holiday for disinterest in spending it with you. Not at all. As I said, I don’t have any feelings positive or negative towards it.
