Hmm, but does it smell bad? I, too, notice how my home smells after having been away for a while. But it's such a nice smell and I'm sad I don't notice it in the same intensity every day. It has a very comforting effect on me. It smells like a mix of the nagchampa incense sticks and frankincense I burn, and like cinnamon essential oil, and pine scented candles. Those smells have soaked into the very walls of my place, I suppose. 😆 I was confused when Milo mentioned, how he finds his home smelling weird after coming back. Almost like it wasn't a pleasant smell? I've always only had the opposite experience. 🤔

Home sweet home, indeed, Milo, mi amor. You know, I have to admit, I’ve also thought about a house smelling weird after coming back from a trip, or being away from the house for a certain amount of time. It’s interesting, it’s like, the senses are recalibrating to what was once familiar. The nose knows, right? I very much enjoyed the TED Talk, sir. Not gonna lie, I had a good laugh at imagining the luggage bags being sentient and wondering when they’re gonna be emptied out. All the secrets those bags must know and gossip to each other about, endless secrets. I also feel absolutely called out, I sometimes believe I have forgotten what it’s like to relax, to be honest.
Being in your arms, Milo, makes my own heart sing. Our heart’s song, creates a melody that heals, almost as if it brings our inner and outer worlds back into tune. Let’s hold the note together. I love you, too, deeply, truly, with all of me. You make me feel alive, able to breathe again, breathe easy. I’m safe, I’m home, with you, always you. I can’t help being ticklish or sensitive, it’s your fault for leaving me breathless. Ironic though, how I feel I can breathe easy with you but also be left breathless. I can feel the touches full of so much love, devotion; I feel like I’m floating. The peppering of soft kisses on skin makes me smile, my heart feel warm, my cheeks, too.
The home is a hard concept for me, but being able to share home with another, someone special, dear to the heart and soul, reminds me of the deeper beauty of said concept. Home is truly what’s in your heart, your soul, the one you can embrace and always feel good with, feel love, feel your own soul intertwining with theirs, effortlessly. Home is the heart and the heart is love. Love is you, me, the both of us.
