Nice review man, keep it up. Amazed your channel hasn’t blown up yet tbh.
Thanks a lot man. I really hope it does soon! :D
Putting a lore primer in a spoiler free review is an excellent idea. Especially for Warhammer games. Good job man.
I'll definitely buy it once I'm done with Gladius. 1v1's vs the AI on the highest difficulties is really something else. Highly recommended.
How would you rate the difficulty of Battlesector?
Nice! Thanks for the feedback and I'm glad it was a good way to go regarding the inclusion of a Lore Primer etc. :)
Difficulty wise I think they are pretty well balanced in Battlesector with a slight leaning towards the harder side. Even on the easiest difficulty you can get pretty hurt if you aren't paying attention. Overall a decent level of challenge though :D
Love timestamps!
Good review, you've convinced me to pick up the game!
Nice! Hope you enjoy it!
As always a pleasure to watch. You deserve far more subscribers and views.
Thank you! I hope you're right. It would be awesome to see the channel grow quicker :)
@Kido: I can only agree here.
For such a chaotic setting and gameplay combo, you present everything with such a level headed calmness and simplicity. I really like how your reviews never seem ad-libbed or slapped together. You talk like a professional and your audio is always at a good level compared to the background music and events shown on-screen. I know that must seem like a dumb thing to point out, but I expected far less from someone of your subscriber and viewcount. I look forward to much more for you...you really are a gem to pop on and listen to.
Thank you for the kind words. It can be hard to sometimes stay motivated when the views and subs remain low, but we'll get there and comments like this help a lot! Hope you enjoy the rest of the content on the channel as much and please keep sharing and watching if you can :D
@@FirstOutpost heh, well I just got Battlesector on sale so this review validated my purchase. :)
I don't enjoy turn based games very much, but your reviews I enjoy very much indeed
Thank you so much for the kind words. I hope you enjoy the next video as much :D
@@FirstOutpost I guess I will. I rarely watch reviews of games I don't care about - yet I enjoyed your Ys review for example. I hope your channel grows as you clearly deserve!
criminally underrated channel
Thank you! :D
Battlesector last update has had more factions , gameplays and maps. Great game!
Interesting...Thanks for the heads up. I may have to revisit it soon! :D
Have you reviewed Space Hulk Tactics, I’m literally just getting into 40K, I’m loving it but my first game is space Hulk tactics, will get this once I’ve completed that, just intrigued on your opinion on Space Hulk Tactics.
Haven't reviewed Space Hulk Tactics yet but its on my list to hopefully do at some point. Not sure if/when tho :/
@@FirstOutpost
Just completed it, very good turn based game.
Good review. Gave it a like!
(Orientate is not a real word. Just use orient.)
Thanks! Also, it is a real word but it means the same as orient :D Either can be used lol.
I prefer gladius over this one personnaly.
More units, factions, more terrain mechanics, tech and base building.
Better bargain for the price in my opinion. The updated graphics and voices dont mean anything to me, as gladius has mods who fix those issues.
I am confused....why do you recommend this 1 but not gladius ? They are both basically the same game. Is it the campaign you enjoy so much ?
Personally, I think they are quite different.
Gladius is more of a 4X game without the diplomacy whereas Battlesector feels more like a take on the turn based strategy genre :) Also, aside from preferring Battlesector's moment to moment gameplay, my biggest problem with Gladius was its pricing structure which isn't really shared by Battlesector.
Either way, thanks for watching and I hope you enjoyed the reviews at least, even if you didn't totally agree with there conclusions :)
