When this video gets into ANALYTICS... what goes over peoples heads are the side by side is actually much further apart than they seem. Tale Win Shares for example. MJ has led the league 8 times to Lebron's 5. But at the time the video was made MJ only played 13 full seasons, and Lebron 17 Full Seasons. So Lebron had an extra 4 years on MJ and still didn't match or beat MJ's number. MJ = 8/13 VS Lebron = 5/17.

I totally agree with your comment about Mount Rushmore. I've researched this myself and you're right. the game was very very different back in Wilt's time. I still don't have LeBron in my top five though. There is far too much disrespect shown to Kareem. I DID see him and bird and Magic play in a very tough era. The defense had so many things they could get away with, and damn near killed players. Hence the Jordan Rules. Watch the Bulls Mixtape. Watch how many players would be on defense against him. THAT is why that era was so popular with fans. It's was brutal. And in all that brutality, Jordan, Kareem, Bird and Magic STILL shone brightest. LeBron is close to Magic now. I will give him that. But this business of chasing titles by trying to create super teams. And the complete lack of defense played by LeBron. Sorry, I have him somewhere around 6th, fighting with a place with Kobe. But Jordan... There's NO debate. It's just a me generation who want to think they have the best player in THIS generation. They never saw Jordan or the others play. He would have destroyed LeBron. WHY? Because even if he wasn't better (although he would have been) he had such a ridiculous killer instinct, he would have worked overtime to become better, then on the court, he would have smashed LeBron with skills, speed, and killer mentality. He was the definition of a bad man on court.

Lebron just has more seasons on his side. His recent playing has even done worse for his "legacy". And as for Nick's comment at the beginning about Lebron being bigger and faster, how come he loses as much being that physically blessed in an era with smaller players and different foul-calling?

As you stated, the vast majority of Lebron fans are too young to have ever watched MJ play. Jordan's highlight videos are awesome to watch, but one thing missing is the fact that if you added every highlight in his career, the video would 100 hours long. He played great consistently night after night, year after year. People tend to gravitate to the players they grow up watching...and if you were lucky enough to watch both Jordan and James play...MJ is obviously a much better player.

Sorry but I need my GOAT playing defense into his thirties. LeBron fans always quiet about that. Just throw up what he did on offense and hope people just ignore it. As the video shows Jordan out there making defensive first team and leading his position in defensive win shares and LeBron hasn't made a defensive team since 2014 and his rank plummets. And it's clearly due to lack of effort. He wasn't injured that whole time and he wasn't 37 for the last 7 years. The fact you can make a highlight video of him standing on the opposite side of the court watching hos team play 4 v 5 disqualifies him from being the GOAT in my eyes.

But I have to give him some credit because he had a lot of skill after watching the little film I could find. He had a high vert for a guy his size. I think he was the only person to block the sky hook more than once. He actually had a good mid-range game. He was very athletic for a big man. He used to run track and field. I don't think he would have scored 100 points had he joined the league 10 years later, but I think he would have been a great big man due to his level of skill. He might have been more comparable to Kareem if his career started a little later

Chris, I appreciate the intelligence level you brought to this video. You even made a lot of points right before DANGERProductions made the case for it. That's what's up.
I forgot to mention the MJ ranks 6th All-time with 5.4 assists per game at the SG position and was an excellent passer. It is impossible to be ranked that high and not be good at assists, so that is a myth. Also, earlier in MJ's career his teammates were not good at scoring. MJ would pass to teammates and they wouldn't execute the score, so if he had the benefit of playing with all-star teammate like Lebron has had his assists would be even higher had those players been around him to scored once they got that feed from MJ.
Also, today's position-less game continues to blur the lines between the positions. Lebron is listed as PF/SF... but he's a really a Point Forward like Scottie Pippen was. He did all the things a Point Guard would do.. bring up the ball and facilitate the offense. But at the Forward position and not the Guard position.

Speaking of Load Managing. Not counting this 19th yr, Lebron has been off an average of 9 games per season. That's a total of 162 games over the past 18 seasons. That is equivalent to TWO FULL SEASON off, mostly due to load managing, as he's only had one injury (first season with Lakers) during this time frame.

actually Jordan was good at assists, he was 4th overall for all shooting gaurds. He also played point guard for 24 games and he averaged: 30.4 points, 10.7 assists, 9.2 rebounds, and 2.4 steals. Compare that to Magic Johnson's career averages: 19.5 points, 7.2 rebounds, and 11.2 assists and 1.9 steals, Meaning Jordan got 2 more rebounds a game, a half a steal more per game, and only a half an assist less with 11 more points per game. You cannot put LeBron James on your Mount Rushmore over Kobe, five championships versus 3 1/2, LeBron has only scored over 60 points one time, Kobe Bryant has more scoring titles, more more finals titles, and let’s not forget the second best scoring performance of all time. On two separate occasions Kobe Bryant has out scored the opposing team by himself. The only reason LeBron has more MVPs, is because BronSexual moby Smoochers like Nick Wright, Shannon Sharp, and Rachel Nichols have been key voters. You can put him on there next to Kobe, but you can’t put him on there over Kobe. Kobe never had to have a bubble to win a championship, and Kobe‘s worst season was nowhere near as atrocious as this past season was off of the team that LeBron constructed. Kobe has beaten more 50+ win teams than LeBron in a tougher conference. Personally as weak as this era is I can’t even put LeBron on my Mount Rushmore. Adam Silver has done everything but lower the hoop 2 feet and shorten the court 20 to help LeBron push past most of these players. In fact if you were to switch Scottie Pippen and LeBron James Era‘s i’m pretty sure the fan base would be trying to put Pippen in the goat conversation, in fact I know they would because Pip it is a far better defender than LeBron ever dreamed about being. In fact with is shooting intensive as this era is, I am dead sure that if you had Larry Bird or Reggie Miller they would probably be on 73 wind teams and arguably the best shooters of all time over Curry. I would love to see this guys analytics comparing Magic Johnson, Larry Bird or the guy who is scoring record LeBron is going after in Kareem Abdul Jabbar to LeBron just to show you how insignificant he really is. Nobody has ever had it as easy as LeBron ever has.

Jordan was an elite passer, the difference between Jordan and Lebron or Bird is that Jordan was the finisher and he most often passed to get himself open so he got the ball back - no assist. Lebron is almost never the best finisher on teams he played on so he gets assists instead of buckets. Bird played with McHale, Parish and Walton - who could all finish as well or almost as well as he could so he racked up a lot of assists.

If you haven't seen them, check out 'Michael Jordan's Best Rare Video Ever' or 'Michael Jordan Best Passing Highlights' Between those, his defensive highlights or even 'Michael Jordan's Historic Bulls Mixtape', no one can watch those videos after watching 'LeBron James Ultimate Career Mixtape', and (then say with a straight face) that LeBron James is better at dunking, scoring, passing, blocking, stealing, overall defending, or that he jumps higher, is a better ball handler, has better footwork, is better at misdirecting fakes, etc. The only people who can say that are the LeBron fanboys who see the red apple but insist it's actually blue. Most of them refuse to watch MJ highlights because deep down, they know. They'd rather act like children, use their fingers to plug their ears and say 'la-la-la I'm not listening la-la-la'. LeBron will pass Kareem as #1 on the all-time points leader, and he'll do it in fewer games than Kareem did. But he'll also pass Kareem as #1 all-time in Missed Shots... and he'll do that in fewer games too. Hell, a player who averages just '3' ppg can eventually become the #1 all-time leading scorer. They might have to play 200 seasons, but anyone can get there if they play long enough (see: LeBron James).

Announcer Chich Hearn called it "taking a bunny hop through the pea patch." The exception to this is catching the ball while running. Once caught, you have two steps to establish a pivot foot, or to pass and shoot. the same 1 1/2 step rule applies. Bill Russell played when there was only 9 teams in the league and only a couple rounds of playoffs lol Some players ( if you look up information on this) showed they didn't have enough players and people like construction or other jobs would fill in teams back in the day. Wilt?? Wilt only had to deal with initially Bill Russell and George Mikan (Russell was only 6'9) There were NO 7ft monsters and then Kareem came in but still, just those three guys. Imagine if wilt had to deal with Hakeem, Ewing, Robinson, Shaq, yao ming, i mean the list goes on and they all were over 7ft. How would he defend and stop Shaq backing in with 350 lbs ? he wouldn't. Wilt and Russell , those two (before Kareem and if you watch the old videos all over CZcams) wilt looked like a GIANT compared to the other players. Would wilt score a 100pts in Jordan's generation? HELL NO NOT EVEN CLOSE. Kareem was great but can you imagine him playing against all those centers i just mentioned. Would HE have had the same stats? NO he wouldn't. Lebron, playing in Jordan's physical generation of basketball, would he put up the same stats as he does now in a soft league and where if you sneeze its a foul? NO he wouldn't. I’m not a LeBron hater at all, I am a diehard Laker fan and I was very happy when LeBron came to the team. I have a LeBron Lakers jersey and a Lakers 2020 championship hoodie that I proudly wear that LeBron is responsible for, so no I’m not someone that is biased at all but while I agree, LeBron is one of the grades and should be in everybody’s top 10 I will never agree with someone saying he’s the goat. Michael Jordan is the greatest player of all time. My favorite player of all time is Kobe Bryant. I would love to be able to make the argument that Kobe is the greatest player that ever lived, but I can’t do that. For me it’s Michael Jordan at number one and Kobe Bryant had number two.

Bill, wilt and Lebron not on my mount Rushmore. Awesome video with nothing but facts. MJ is simply the Goat. :) and this was never a debate for me. I've watched both them play in their prime. Lebron not on MJs level. no one is. Good reaction bud. Glad to see young dudes learning and knowing about MJ.

Wilt imo is overrated. Just a tall athletic guy playing in the weakest era of all time. Nun special. I could go to the 60s and score tons since I'm more skilled than a 60s player. Bill got 11 rings but thats all i count for him since there were like 10 teams.

I appreciate what they did in pioneering a style of athletic big man, but in a bigger picture view they barely top 20 to me

MJ Is the most complete player of all time and the Most Atheltic. LBJ isnt even my top 5 really great best of this era But Bird, Magic And His Airiness are Obviously better. Not as limited as LBJ

I'd argue Wilt was very slightly more athletic than MJ or at least his equal

Wilt is overrated. Only reason we think he is athletic is bc rumors with no footsge and bc he played in the 60s.

@@ChrisCanHoop sorry man you’ll need to do better than “Wilts athleticism are rumours because you said so” yes he’s overrated if anyone has him top 3 all time, but Wilt is top 5-6 in any serious list
