    Just the fact that MJ accumulated all of those awards, threepeats, and championships in just 13 seasons, and Lebron is still playing in season 19, and still hasn't done what MJ did, despite playing on stacked superteams, with easy path to Finals when he was playing in the EAST. LeBron fanboys still try to convince themselves he's better even with these stats, facts & figures slapping them in the face. Even frowing up here in NY I had the privilege of watching MJ's entire career (thanks to WGN) & this comparison couldn't be any closer to truth. I knew every night when watching MJ I would see something I've never seen. He never disappointed, he never slacked on either end of the floor. He was the best player on the court every night & it was noticeably obvious when watching him play that it felt at times surreal. Not taking anything away from LeBron because he is & will go down in NBA history as one of the greatest, but MJ was & always will be the greatest.

    One fact that no one can deny or disprove...Michael Jordan's stats consistently improved from regular season, to playoffs, to the Championship series....His focus and toughness and clutchness always got better the deeper he and his Team went into the playoffs...even with the flu/food poisoning, MJ scored 38 pts in Gm. 5 during the Finals on his way to Title #5, and the next year he scored 45 pts on his way to Title #6... Just because those teams fell to Jordan, you cant downplay the 90s teams MJ faced in a physical, intense, brutal, defensive geared era. Those Sun's, Sonics, Jazz, ect.. were incredible. I live in Utah an my Grandma would take me to games. I remember thinking nobody could beat those Jazz in 7. Watching Karl Malone abusing players an watching that Jazz team ripping teams apart was crazy. In 97 an 98 was actually pretty worried about the Bulls . There is a reason why LeBron fans only want to talk about the finals opponents and not the road to it. They know Lebrons road to his finals was laughably easier than Jordan's. Even when we talk about Jordan's early playoff struggles against Boston and Detroit it would be like LeBron being drafted to a weak western team and having to play the 2000's Spurs or Lakers in the early rounds. And I find it funny that no one was calling the team's Jordan beat in the finals weak and nobodies until a certain superstar kept losing so many finals. Their intentions are so transparent. Additionally you'd think LeBron fans would be more sympathetic with Jordan's opponents. Making it to the finals from the weaker conference to get beat by the best team from the better conference? Sounds like most of Lebrons finals career, doesn't it? Oh except that 2011 series. That was just a choke job.

    This video is all facts and truth. I've watched both these players in their prime. And at one point was a huge lebron fan. But over the years watching lebron and his team swapping to win chips has turned me away from being a fan. Just not what a consider great in my opinion. Its just taking advantage of situations to maximize winning potential. And it has paid off for Lebron..but for me I consider lebron a good basketball ball player. That made basketball choices to win not show greatness. Not taking his team over and having the ability to make them winners. As soon as his team lost Lebron goes to another team with better players. Or at least players he felt were better to win. Not even giving his teammates a chance to get better and grow together..maybe his 1st trip in Cleveland he tried to do so. Just couldn't lead the team over the hump to a chip. But lebron is not in my top 5. Cant place him before the Black Mamba, Magic, bird, Kareem and for sure not even close to Mj. I'd also have a few other greats before Lebron. That stuck it out with their teams good and bad. Yet with their greatness helped those teams win with out jumping to a better stacked roster. That's just my feelings on Lebron. No one tops MJ and fans of whom ever shouldn't try and compare their favorite player to MJ. Because the facts will just let them down. Enjoy who you like and let them play for their own legacy. I'm Just happy to be one of those that know MJ is the Goat. He doesnt have to say it. Everyone else does that for him that lives in reality. :) great review bro. Oh and Nick Wright is a complete buffoon.

    It’s a different game since 2005…when Stern changed the defensive rules Steve Nash went from averaging 12/6 in his first 8 years to winning back to back MVPs over Shaq and Kobe….it brought in the softest eras of hoop and made the game easier to play.and Stern said it himself how the game needed to be changed so the small player could have a chance to dominate.

      Yea and we see this sort of sports propaganda leak out in other places as well and it effects young fans that don't have a good grasp of basketball history. I'll give you an example. ESPN spouts off constantly about "Curry is the greatest shooter we've ever seen! He changed the game!" In reality, NBA executives changed the game and that made a player like Curry possible. I'm not saying Curry is not a great shooter, I'm saying no hand checking and tighter foul rules is what made a player like Curry possible. ESPN, of course, is not allowed to tell the truth about how the game really changed so they just tell everyone that Curry changed it. Its simply not true.

    Lebron did not have a 16 year prime. That would mean he was in his prime was from his debut to nearly the end of his career.. Lebron's prime probably started around age 25-26 when he went to Miami. And although he played well after leaving the heat he hasn't been in his prime for a number of years. He peaked early 30s. He's now 37.. He may have had 7 or 8 prime years. Jordan played both sides of the court his entire career. Lebron hasn't been a good defender through most of his 30s. Also Jordan played with the wizards past his prime and never stacked that team to give himself an advantage. Meanwhile LeBron has stacked his teams for years. If he played with a regular team like MJ did with the wizards at the end of his career Lebron would not have a wall of all-star players to catapult himself. Had MJ did the same he'd have atleast one more title under his belt, but he never took the easy route. MJ was a true warrior at heart/spirit.

      Your getting prime and peak confused. His peak started in Miami as that was the peak of he potential in muscle and athleticism. After Miami he was an extremely slow decline. And in 2020-21 in had about 40inch max now it’s around 38-37. He been in he’s prime from almost the start. He a great player but He ain’t the goat tho.

    • @solsoul6669
      @solsoul6669 Před 6 měsíci

      Prime is from when you reach adulthood to when you start your decline. Which happen in your 30s. Lebron started going down around 30-31 although it was very slow as I said so it was almost unnoticeable as he only lost 4 inch’s of vert in 6years and 6-7 inches in 8-9 years, it’s impressive.

    Look at when they show Bron taking 3’s. The whole team is all hanging out on the perimeter. No one is in to be ready for a board, so they are just conceding the position to the defense basically if he misses. The NBA today is so weak in the way they play the game. Most teams today would get dusted by the good hard playing defensive teams of the 80’s and 90’s. Wouldn’t even take the best team.

    Jordan won every opportunity he had to win the ship. Also, he did it against several Hall of Famers. If it wasn't for Jordan, Stockton and Malone would be goated as the best 1-2 punch in NBA History. That team was so good, and featured arguably the best PG(Stockton all-time assist leader) and PF(Karl Freakin Malone- Yes I Considered Duncan, Garnett and McHale obviously) of all time. The Jazz might have been the better team, but the Jordan Factor beat them twice in the finals. Yes, LeBron carried some teams to the finals virtually by himself in a very weak Eastern Conference, and the 2017 win over the Warriors is one of the greatest accomplishments in NBA history. However, when it comes to clutch performances when it matters, there is no comparison. Jordan had 6 opportunities, and he has six rings.

And after the game, he couldn't even really explain it, it was just that 3s felt really easy that night, like free throws. That was the exception to the rule, but it's still funny that the guy used that iconic shrugging clip.
