    It took me longer to get pregnant the second time (after a c section) and when I finally did it ended up being ectopic and also had a ruptured ovarian cyst bleeding into my abdomen. I got pregnant pretty quick after I was cleared to. I’m 24 weeks now with a healthy pregnancy

    This is exactly what I have after my 2nd c section, I developed a bad scar tissue that blocked my fallopian tubes and made IVF is only option to have another baby, sad and unexpected outcome after c section. Thank you for shedding a light on this topic, it helps in many ways.

    Great more things to worry about lol. I’m having a scheduled c section with my first baby (ivf). So this means it may hurt my chances when I’m ready for a 2nd transfer?

    Ugh not sure I would have got a c section if I knew this (although mentally and physically I was having some real problems) and it turned out to be the best option for baby

      Oh wow! How is it going? I hope healthy 🙏 🙂. I am six weeks postpartum c section. I want to have another baby, but I can't wait too long because I'm 43, I need to hurry now that I'm still ovulating. I'm scared to get pregnant too soon after c section. Please let me know. Thank you in advance.

    Is it better to stick to C sections after having the first one ? My mom had 3 and with the third she almost died from bleeding. I always wanted to deliver naturally, but my baby was 41 weeks and I couldn't dilate so i had an emergency C section. Its been 10 years from that, now im 30 and I would love tp have another baby.

    Had a c section almost 5 years ago and got pregnant naturally. Been trying for around 2 years now and was wondering if there was a corolation between my c section and my secondary infertility. I also had my gallbladder removed the day after my c section.

    I had an open myomectomy where they breeched the cavity of my womb could it cause the same pathology as a c-section in terms of scarring and implantation problems?

    • @BethMacDur
      @BethMacDur Před rokem

      I also have myomas and I was told by my doctor that a myomectomy could either complicate the chances of getting pregnant or make it easier. Some people have scar tissue that doesn't allow implantation but also others need the myoma to be removed in order for the egg to implant 🤷 your doctor knows better in that case, it would also have to do with what type of myomas you had and where they were placed.

    Thank you for the info but this is so depressing. I had 4 pregnancy losses. I did IVF and they found out I had fibroids. I needed an open myomectomy that I’m still healing from. I feel like I’m never going to have a healthy pregnancy.
