Thank you for this! I had the IUD for 10 years and this time when I had it removed I decided to let my body rest and do what it needs to do on its own me being 39 and not going to be having a fun time lol anytime soon. Well I had some things happen and had a ultrasound and I seen where they put in a had a thin line I put it in the google box and it came up cancer or post menopause. So I was thinking um did me being on BC throw me into early menopause. This was so much information and understanding. I asked my doctor what it meant and she just said everything is fine.
I had a scam and they said mine was 5mm thickness and said that was fine normal but i know know its think and not good for when ttc, as I've been trying to get preganant and for nearly 2 years now and I'm only 28years old. I'm now trying to chase this up with my doctors as I have severe acne on my cheeks and keep getting hot flushed and hormal mood changes alot that I used too and I'm getting all the symptoms of pregnancy then my period comes 😢 I don't want to believe I may be loosing all the time but not realising it. Hope this gets fixed by my doctors. Your video is great thanks for the information ❤

My lining would be the opposite I presume. I have adenomyosis and also a polyp in my uterus. Ttc . Had an early miscarriage last summer. I'm 41. Not my first baby. Hoping to have good news soon 😢
This is such a great video! Thank you for the explanation. I have mine at 5mm 😢 but I am so happy with my progress. It went from 1mm to 5! (I had an IUD for years! -as you explained in the video). We are hoping to get pregnant soon. Miracles do exist! But I know that with a thicker lining our chances are greater 🙏🏼😘

Mine is at 3mm and I was on BC for 4 years.
Learning that things like IUDs can impact this is sooo mind blowing. Why don't we learn about this? Women's health is truly played with.
I think this could definitely apply to me. I am 35 and never really had heavy periods, but noticed that I ovulate earlier now and have shorter cycles. Makes me a bit worried :/ Also, I have cramps (mild, twinging, pulling sensations) right after ovulation, every single cycle.. sometimes sore breasts. Any connection?

Ah thank you so much for this!!! Just started IVF suppression today. So worried my thin lining is going to mean i can never carry. I know i have polyps that need to get removed so hopefully that helps too.
@mcalvo7925, How are you doing? I have a thin lining also. I have appointment w fertility doc next month- heard they can prescribe us Estradial which is estrogen before ovulation to allow our thin lining to grow. Were you able to get help with your lining? I get extremely concerned about it also but I feel hopeful that I learned it can be improved

What about a lining that’s to thick? I was told my lining was extremely thick.
Ask your gynecologist what you should do.
Do you have any videos of thick lining ? I have this on going problem to where it's precancerous stage and I haven't been able to convince because of it .

Thanks for the video. I was on the pill for 13 years. I came off and my period was 3-4 days for about 4 months. I went back on for 3 months and ive been off again 7 months and my period is less than 2 days and i cant get pregant. Is it likely to get better itself? Or will most likely i need treatment?
Yes, would like to know as well. Mine is barely there after 8 years on a pill and I've been off BCP for 1.5 years. Doctors just brushing it off like no biggie but I have been raising this issue for months. If I knew I would of never gone on a pill.
I was in the pill for a long time myself, your hormones need to adjust so give it some time but I would highly recommend getting your hormones checked and balanced. That has a lot to do with aunt flow. Also as we age the periods are not as long but if your cycles are regular, you can tell that your ovulating and blood is red not dark no clots then I would say your flow is healthy. All the best to you both.

I was on BC for 4 years. I've been off BC for 10 months. I haven't had a full flow. 1 day max it's bright red but I don't have flow.
I am closing in on 36 years old, and I am starting to ovulate earlier with shorter cycles, very little period blood and lasting only a few days. But my recent cycle had much more heavy bleeding than what is normal for me, but without any pain. Any thoughts?
The latest measure of my uterine lining showed 7,2mm on day 25. Does the amount of bleeding determine thickness or thinness of the uterine lining?

I have a thin endomtrium 5.4mm currently 6 weeks pregnant, however my hcg levels have been dropping. So my gyn is watching for miscarriage. Is it possible my linning is causing this? I dont have any hormonal issues. I was om birth control for 11years, but been off it for 3 years.

7-8 is normal. I’m 4mm lol

@@TheJijie1994hi Jijie did your SCH develop due to you taking baby aspirin for preeclampsia? I’m black and over 35 so I’ve been taking baby aspirin due to TTC but read that they could cause SCH. I’m glad you and baby are doing well ❤

What happened next?
PRP is a waste of money. It is incredibly expensive and to me, based on my personal experience, highly ineffective. Again, this is just my personal experience. I think estrogen and Viagra give you the best chance for thickening in your lining.
I just had an ultrasound and they said my endometrial was 0.66cm what does that mean? . Was taken on CD16
