Hi doc, I know that you are a fertility focused treatment doctor, but could you possibly do a video that explains what happens to your body after a TAH? I had my uterus removed when I was 26 (I'm 39 now) and in the last 5 years that I've had issues with ovarian cysts. I never noticed them previously. Is there a correlation? I have a 12.8 cm cyst on my left ovary and my specialist is talking about removing the ovary now. It would just be nice to see a doctor really break down everything that a woman's body goes through if/when a uterus is removed during child bearing age. ❤

in your video when you were talking about your AMH levels being low (12 minutes and 4 second timezone) it could be due to postpartum and that the patient should speak to their doctor about waiting or repeating. Can you elaborate on what you meant by waiting or repeating. What am I waiting on or what am I repeating?

What does it mean if a person's AMH increases over time? I know what it means if it drops in regard to ovarian reserve decreasing, but how/why do some people have AMH increases over time?

Can you please talk about irregular periods after coming off birth control after being on hormonal birth control for over 10 years?

This was me. Very irregular. Was off BC a year and tracked everything then brought it all to my doctor. Requested blood work and ultrasounds. Got diagnosed with pcos. Was told the options were to get back on bc or if I wanted to get pregnant, we could start meds. I chose neither and from there I’ve watched a lot of information looking to educate myself and to find holistic options and supplements. In this, I found Dr. Crawford. While she doesn’t have a video to your question directly, she speaks on this in all her PCOS videos. I’d give them a watch on her channel and then go to your doctor. I wish I knew more information beforehand. Hope this helps

How about D&C would what have anything at all to do with fertility?
3 years ago I had D&C at 9 weeks on my first ultrasound when the doctor told me that there was no heart beat. The doctor gave me 3 options miscarry naturally, take a pill or get D&C. At that time my husband and I thought that was the safest and the most less painful thing to do so that’s what we did. We went with D&C and ever since that we haven’t been able to conceive. I eat very healthy I don’t eat any sugars or processed foods so I watch what I put in my body and I even have done the home fertility test online where they send you the kit and you send in your blood to get tested see if anything is wrong. All that came back good. We can’t afford to do any tests at the clinic so we are not sure where to go from here.

I am trying to be pregnant for the first time since 4 months at age 33. I am unable to get pregnant. I am worried because of this. I had painful periods just on the first day, more prominent during my 20s. Still get pain on first day. How to deal with this stress of not getting pregnant? How long will it take?
